Very appropriate for a pussy, but this post is typical, you try to do a good turn for people then you get grief, reminds me of the quizzes every fckr a genius.

I first wish to thank everyone who has offered prayers and kind words during a very trying time. Late Monday night 3/20 or early Tuesday 3/21 after not feeling so hot for a few days I woke up with horrible pain in my chest and it felt like someone had parked a 1968 Buick on my chest that was so bad it woke me up. I was also sweating bullets and having trouble breathing. I woke my wife up ot of a sound sleep to tell her to get me my nitro pill and to call 911 and she started panicking. She gets horrible panic attacks and seeing her like that made it so much worse. The EMT's showed up after I had taken a second nitro and they confirmed I was having a big heart attack. They rushed me to the ER about 1.5 miles away and within a hour after several doses of Morphine I was in surgery and having angioplasty and a stent put in my fully 100% blocked right Coronary Artery. However this couldn't have come at a worse time as I had changed jobs 45 days prior and have no health coverage or earned time off. It looks so far that I may qualify for supplemental coverage from the State of Wa. under a new law but I still have to figure out how to cover our bills on much less income this month. I don't really need the added stress but hey this is the facts. I honest believe that it was your prayers, my friends and families prayers and all the positive energy sent my way that helped me survive something many don't get to because they never wake up or are too far from a quality hospital. They had defib pads on me before they left my bedroom because they thought I might not make the trip of 1.5 miles without my heart stopping. I am making progress and even played a little this weekend after being sent home to recover. I was allowed to return to my new job today and it was a little tough but got bills to pay. Thanks Again So Very Much to everyone for helping me and making me smile with those amazing words of encouragement. They meant so much to me and my wife. Things are coming together. Drain and fill ports welded into the Keg still. Working on the double jar thumper set up needs soldered up and the still will be complete. Next step steam tests all joints, Vinger run, and the sacrificial sugar shine run. The first run will be a simple cracked corn and rolled oats infused with Peaches or Strawberries. I should end up with 1 1/2 gallons of hearts somewhere around 130 to 140 proof.

Novashrugs is my daughter @J3st3r and she is a very shy person, you can ask Lovyan, Mordblack, and anyone else who was at the Nashville TN xi fest a few yrs ago... she does not talk much at all and a very quiet speaker. My dad was gunna get her a laptop but the laptop she wanted was out of his price range a yr ago. She is a map maker for certain game, sells her furry art work and etc so she has been wanting to get a new PC for a very long time.

@SGTSmeg The trout I catch are originally from a Scottish lake. Loch Levin. These fish were stocked as pure stock and also hybrid with Atlantic Salmon. I’ll post a link to some incredible information from the 1930’s on the stocking program here in Canada at that time. The areas to look for are Saint John, New Brunswick, Loch Lohmand lake. SADLY some A-Holes introduced small mouth bass into this fishery. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy fishing small mouth bass but these lakes have map now been effected by the illegal introduction of the small mouth. Sorry for getting off track. The best way for me to prepare the fish. Never let your fish sit. I fillet my fish, get rid of the skin (fishy smell). Pull any remaining small bones you may have missed when you filleted them. I heat about 1/4 inch of cooking oil in a cast iron fry pan. Most times I cook it in the BBQ. I use salt, pepper garlic powder on the fillet then coat with a light dust of flour and fry. I also use Montreal steak spice and flour to change it up. Both are absolutely delicious with NO FISHEY flavour. I use both these recipes on all my fish, grouse, pheasants, ducks, geese and woodcock. Everyone I have fed this to always wants more. Most of the time I would serve all this wild game with home made deep fried fries. Mmm! @RobMc ‘s recipe sounds great too. When you scale a fish it actually removes the scales AND fish slime removing a lot of that fishy smell.

BTW lol My grandmother (maiden name Margaret O'Brien) lived in a small town near Aberdeen Scotland for years before coming to the US. She had a strong Irish accent with a bit of Scott mixed in. You're right I was amazed too, like most I normally use wire traces for pike, even perch I use the flexible thin wire (a sod to stop kinking). But the previous session I'd had some great Perch on mono (up to 4lbs) so stuck with it. Like most I have dozens of rods and reels, this time I took a 10' 3 piece float rod and a 9' quiver tip with 1 oz tip for ledgering, caught the Pike on the quiver, both with Shimano 2500 reels, 8lb main line, 5lb traces. I would normally fish size 10 or 12 hook for Perch, but tried the smaller hook as experiment. I only had my small landing net too, everything went against what should be normal. I took my wife fishing on our honeymoon as a 'surprise' holiday to Inverawe fisheries in Scotland, she's never forgiven me.

Try this:- gut and scale them (of course) then deeply score both sides of the fish on the thick part of the backbone. Rub ENGLISH mustard into the scores (yes I know everyone says, but trust me ENGLISH mustard - you won't taste it), cover all over with lemon or lime juice, marinade for 20 minutes. Then panfry in butter on a medium heat for around 2-3 minutes per side. I like mine with a bit of black pepper.

I buy my favorite green coffees from around the world as they come into season & roast them myself. Too many places roast the flavor right out of the bean (Charbucks). No use paying for a particular bean if it's then roasted to hell & tastes the same as any other cheaper coffee. Kona, Yirgacheffe, Blue Mountain, Kenya, Sulawisi, Guatemalan, Sidamo etc. Actually enjoy a dry process brought to Cinnamon roast in the mornings. Really brings out the flavor profile.
