Forcing AI shit down your throat at every possible moment is ridiculous. I just want to browse the internet and play games when I can. Infact I am having issues with Windows 11 compared to Windows 10 with literally none.

Same goes with nearly all programs/phones etc "all powered by AI". Adobe especially, jesus you cant even load the programs without it saying "powered by AI"

The AI bubble is going to burst as none of the platforms are making any money of them. I seen another article showing that AI fails at nearly 90-95% of tasks done by humans : https://www.forbes.com/sites/andreahill/2025/08/21/why-95-of-ai-pilots-fail-and-what-business-leaders-should-do-instead/

Plus all these AI machines have jacked up the price of nearly every computer components out there. Buying up all the stock for the machines and screwing us regular consumers over by paying nearly 2x more than before.

Linux is great, give it a try.

There are plenty of Adobe alternatives that force you to use AI.

The AI bubble isnt going to burst for a long while yet. Most costs are based on building up infrastructure, and outside of that, the big players are bringing in enough to sustain. As far as the Forbes article, its not saying that it fails at 90-95% of tasks... and most of the pain points in the MIT article it was based off are no longer as big an issue (learning from feedback and remembering context).

The component prices suck though.

I've used Linux and know lots of the commands and such trust me. It just I play games which require battleeye which dev's wont back in fact most online anti cheat multiplayer games in general.

Heck I even bought a Steam Deck, very impressive I must say.

I CBA dual booting to be honest maybe on a spare SSD for single player games.

Yes  Linux is a great platform. As mentioned most games\programs can be ran on it. I am a big fan of solid open source software as well. Many products running on my NAS.  There has been so much bloatware and data mining since Windows 10,11 it has been beyond frustrating to work with at times. In the IT field I have seen many buzz words come and go. AI has its uses but is still nowhere close to perfect. I am still waiting for it to rack and cable a switch or firewall for me. Not bad for going through logs etc. We shall see how far it develops.

Well if they would actually test updates and crap before they release them to the Public, there would be ALOT fewer issues.

There version of testing updates is to send them out and then "fix" them with a Patch that screws something else up. lol

Microsoft even admits 30% of their company code is written by AI. No wonder everything has gone to shit.

Anthropics newer AI release is going to be succesful, expect most white collar jobs to slowly go away, and coders, even Microsofts software will eventually succeed, even though we may dislike it.
