I am a fan of Razer, and found a pair that fits the blue light theme I have going for my PC setup (don't knock it, it looks sick as fuck). My main question is, do any of you guys/gals use surround sound headphones, and are they worth the $?

Like anytihng, you can easily overspend, and I wouldn't spend any more than what they cost me.

Sound placement in-game,is for me, very good. I would recommend a good software for managing sounds too, SoundMAX Blackhawk is what I use.

I.m not looking to buy a new sound card. I have a SB live that does 5.1. eventhough for $100 that seems like a HELLUVA deal! <edit> nvrmnd that, I know that it has to do with the card, and what it supports. I'm a PC tech (derp). Plust my motherboard supports 5.1 on-board.

I am all about having an edge when it comes to gaming. But I notice on a lot of games, when someone is behind u and moves from right to left, it's hard to hear the lateral movement.

Does the software support the 7.1? Or is it that since it's actually a simulated surround sound, u dont need a sound card? I am not gonna buy a new card. AND is the WaW multiplayer in 7.1 surround?
