My 18 year old came from Montreal to spend xmas with us, my Mom was here as well as my sister, her husband and their 6 year old daughter. We played ping-pong, chess, checkers, board games, had a lot to eat and drink... Everyone shares and enjoys the labors of each others cooking. The bad thing is there seems never to be enough time. This year i got him a indoor grill... well with it i got him a spatula, tongs, an oven mitt(polkadotted) a sauce brush, some garlic salt, some steak spice and a pack of uncle bens fried rice ( a great side dish LOL) i individualy wrapped them all then HEAVILY taped them to the top of the wrapped grill... was funny watching him open them all especially when he got to the rice... he was like WTF?!?!?!?!? Alexis here. Pretty amazing how a 2 yr old expresses her love.she luvs her papa. Having my brother still here on the road to recovery . Six weeks ago he went in to hospital overnight to have his sinus's scraped. Not a nice procedure in itself. A couple days after he went home he wsnt feeling well(craps and felt sick) so he went to his doctor who said it was post op infection.Not really a big deal so he gave him some antibios and sent him home. Little did he know that my brother had contracted C Deficil a potetialy deadly intestinal desease. The antibios his doc gave him to attack post op infection reduced his immune sys to other invaders. After a couple more days at home, and he was really sick, my sis inlaw rushed to emerg. After blood work they rushed into operating room to remove his bowel. Another day and we would have lost him. I have a hard time gettin my head around someone going into a hospital for minor procedures and contracting deadly deseases. So this was a very Merry Christmas. Of course shes over the Santa deal but she still freaked out like there was never any difference lol. And the fact went to bed at 2:00 and she had me up by 2:30 till like almost 4 and then we were back up by 11. LoL! They always ask me what I want, but I always give them the same answer and that is to spend time with them. We played on the XBOX and got my mom to sing in guitar hero, as well as Simplemod, me and my sister-in-law.
