It's got a fair amount of nudity so it's not really a family show but it's still one of the best shows I've even seen... It's produced by HBO so you know it's absolutely flawless! Incredible series with the best character development I have ever seen. I never read A Feast For Crows because I heard that Tyrion Lannister isn't in the book and it pissed me off. I do own it and am about to start reading it. As far as the TV series goes, I have seen Season 1 and was very impressed. I did have to get used to a good looking Tyrion though. In the book he is a hideous waddling dwarf with miss-matched eyes and ugly features. The guy that plays him does such a good job that i forgot about it pretty quickly. Looking forward to watching Season 2. Awards

I didn't want to see the show until I had read some of the books first. I finished the second book about 4 days before the 2nd season started on HBO last year. My wife and I blitzed thru the 1st season, just finishing less than an hour before the 2nd season premiere last year. We are eagerly waiting for season 3.

Looking forward to watching Season 2. You have to remember that Feast and Dance are two parts of the same book, and that Martin broke them up due to the total size. So while some characters are not in Feast and some are not in Dance, combined they cover all the bases and cover the same time period. You could probably alternate chapters from each book and it would actually make more sense. Steak 1 Awards

I saw a interview with the author a while back too, he said there is going to be lots of well known/loved characters getting killed off to make room for lots of new characters, he has to do it because the cast list is so big there will not be enough time to fit everyone in, so i don't know if it means the series will vary from the books or not as i ain't read any of the books. eidolonFIRE 1
