CobraBites Posted June 28, 2014 Member ID: 2313 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 0 Topic Count: 330 Topics Per Day: 0.06 Content Count: 4924 Content Per Day: 0.95 Reputation: 3034 Achievement Points: 33897 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 4 Joined: 03/19/11 Status: Offline Last Seen: August 2, 2017 Birthday: 05/26/1974 Posted June 28, 2014 omg finally got my foot healed been dying to go and ride some coasters....keep in mind i havent ridden one in like 14 yrs....omg i had a blast regretted it 3 days in row after tho i hurt soooo bad i can barely walk lol...but it was worth every min...lol...the first one i posted actually got queencobra on she dont like coasters too much...wished i had the money for the pic shot on the ride she was in a horrified position lmao we was on the 2nd car from the front..very intense ride called the banshee..lol enjoy vids guys ..oh this banshee ride is inverted feet dangler too.. this ride is mildly intense...but im almost too tall for this ride at 6' 2"...the top of harness was extremely tight on top of my shoulders so every loop and barrel roll was extremely painful...but i really love this ride really old one they ve had for nearly 20 yrs...it beats u up as bad as wooden coaster lol..the video is kinda shaky due to how jerky the ride truly is lol this next one is true major classic wooden coaster...this ride was built in 1979 ...it holds the world record for being the longest wooden coaster at over just 2 miles of track...and holds world record for being the fastest wooden coaster of its kind maxing out at 64.77mph....talk about some g force on wood coaster holy cow i forgot how fast this one really was lmao...it also takes more than 4mins to ride no shit lol...oh as old as this ride is its still there most popular ridden coaster to this day there. this ride consistantly ranks 7th and 8th every yr as the best coaster in the world...first yr it ranked 3rd next one was the flying style coaster one of the newer style coasters couple yrs ago.....omg never done one of these b4..was little intemidated by starting out on my back...once it rolled on the first drop that puts u facing the ground the intensity rose big time on this ride def would recommend this to anyone great intense fun ride..... short but sweet ride...invertigo...its face to face coaster feet dangling inverted coaster...omg very intense fun ride...love watching the look on the other person face sitting across from me lmfao...its great lol wow this ride didnt look to intemidating when i first watched videos of it...so i thinkn piece of cake...WRONG!!! LOL...this ride is the tallest and fastest coaster kings island has...and its considered a free fall coaster every hill u go over u literally come completely out of ur seat omfg ...very intense one this was lol...its def must try ..this is also considered a floorless coaster ar ur feet dont touch the floor of the car... next one is old classic popular one at kings island as well...its called the bat...a.k.a top gun when paramount owned the park...inverted coaster with full car and floor and the cars swing on the turns....very fun ride...def must try as well... hope u guys liked the coasters and get chance to go visit and ride them...there are few more coasters they have that i havent ridden yet but hope to do so on next visit ... eidolonFIRE, Ruggerxi, hxtr and 1 other 4

I haven't ridden very many but they are truly a rush. Wooden roller coasters are both amazing and frightening. Amazing because they are a huge pile of "sticks" assembled into a structure that carries people on a wild ride. Frightening because the bolts that hold that pile of sticks together are LOOSE and the whole structure sways and flexes as the cart travels around the track. Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Calif. was the first coaster for me that was "Big Time" and was a blast to ride . . unfortunately Colossus will be closing down for good in August of 2014. In contrast at the same park there was Psyclone another wooden roller coaster but what a piece of shit ! After riding that death trap I could barely walk (back) I had a tremendous headache and mild whiplash. Six Flags got smart in 2007 and closed it down and demolished it. @@CobraBites what type of camera did you use to record these videos with? Awards

Six Flags got smart in 2007 and closed it down and demolished it. @@CobraBites what type of camera did you use to record these videos with? lol i didnt record the vids i show when me and queen went we didnt take our camera..but i do have small digital kodiak camera i got which takes hd video and hd sound....i just got those random videos off you tube just to show u guys the rides...and what it would look like when i was on the ride...lol... yea also kings island had one of those wooden coasters that became more of a liability then an assest...it shattered several wood coaster records too...like being the tallest drop at 214 feet on wooden but was as high as 218 feet and the fastest at max speed of 78 mph....it also shattered the record for being the very first wooden coaster with a loop check it out here video of it...i actually got to ride it when it first came out about 14 yrs ago ride probably only lasted about 4 or 5 yrs b4 deconstruction of it.....the ride....The Son of the Beast...enjoy Edited June 29, 2014 by CobraBites

I was in Middletown Tuesday. I take my Nissan Z to Rameys Z to get worked on. I put wider tires on the back and had to roll the fenders for clearence. Takes me about an hour and 15 minutes to get there. We hit Traders World and Turtle Creek alot too. The Son of Beast was a great smooth wooden coaster. The Racers beat the shit out of you. Didnt some one fall from the Son of Beast ? Wasnt that the reason for taking it down ? Cant remember. Edited June 29, 2014 by MikeB Awards
