We can't add anything, we can't take anything away. If something doesn't work right or at all you just have to live with it. Do not come on here and post that the car jammer isn't working, or this perk doesn't work right or this gun isn't working correctly. What is in the mod is what you get only thing that will change on the mod will be maps if the server stays.

Double tap does nothing to recoil. Nadda. Only fire rate.

The HK is 'exactly' the M4.

Scar has has more recoil than what? The HK? Of course.

It has less ammo because of the greater damage it does per round. Like the difference between an M21 and M40. In that regard the AK is at the top, but has the most kick.

As for red dots, that is outside the realm of what sidearms are for. Close range weapons that dont need a sight. The Glock is an exception, for the model, as a specops weapon.

I dont really like the iron sights on the scar either. There is a newer version of that available and when I have time I will check it out.

 

Another option, I will remove scar and put the acr model with the %100 exact scarh stats if... and only if... there will be zero complaints that its not the same as the old one. Zero comments about changing it or even nice requests. When I mean zero I mean not single peep from anybody to myself, Rugger, or any admin. Nothing at all in-game either. If there is even a slightest chance that even one person will complain to Rugger about it then this will be a non-starter. I will require everyone to post in the forums that they agree to these terms. And I do mean everybody. If I dont see a lot of people doing this then it wont happen.

I presume we all know that, even if those on the forums agree, you will still hear stuff in the server. However you might doubt whether or not that is because of the acr, or because it is normal for people to complain.. However, it'd have my blessing

Thanks. I was very very unhappy how some people were unfairly pushed very hard to try and change things because they didnt like things being fixed. I will not cause that to happen again.

@@Sammy people will definitely comment but complaining to get it "fixed" should just be ignored. Actually I like the Iron sight on the SCAR, its one of the least obstrusive. The one I hate is the M4 Carbine, the gun has shit range and accuracy for long distance shots to top it off it has the double iron sights might as well wear a blind fold.

This mod is no longer supported, so that means there are no changes that can be made to the mod. We can't add anything, we can't take anything away. If something doesn't work right or at all you just have to live with it. that not necessarily true i get some good long distance kills with it...i use it primarily and i use silencer....if i use red dot seems to be glitched i can hit someone with it using red dot and not even hit em takes few shots to get it...silencer seems to be more accurate on m4

@@CobraBites, When I am engaging 4-5 targets in proximity, I can't move it from target to target to get kills. I have to stop firing, I am not talking about spraying. I aim and quickly switch targets. The M16A does a fantastic jobs but only semi-auto so if even one of the enemy has good reflexes, I  will be dead. The SCAR-H or the AUG work really well at medium range. If you looked at an enemy while holding the trigger the scar will get u that kill, won't be lost shots with that wep.

You will have to give up perk 1 for the dual attachment but included is an M16 with silencer and reflex sight. Add double tap and you have a very nice medium to long range weapon that is not quite full auto but pretty close.

I'm going in tonight, i am curious what the difference is. I personally don't really care about what mod there is. I like to get good at whichever mod. But the people in the server make the fun for me, regardless there's ACR or whatever!!

That's a pretty awesome looking weapon. I use the scar quite a lot so I look forward to this.

Will 1.46 be rolled on to the main server eventually or is it unable to support freeze tag?

It will support freezetag. In fact it will have the AI controlled uav desfroster that is really cool. I used the SMR quite a bit yesterday checking out the various settings and I like it a lot more than the scar. It doesnt have different settings. Just one of those things that cant be explained. The weapon itself is from Ghost and courtesy of Tito. It is always good when there are other modders in the community that are good at doing things that I am, at best, a novice at. :lol:

 

It should also be a bit more compatible that might allow for some maps that are currently unplayable. No guarantees tho.  If people are fine with switching the main server mod from time to time while its being developed I can do that when its ready. So long as nobody screams at me.

 

Another option I am looking at, if I can free up room and make it fit, is replace the steyr-aug assault rifle with the sc-2010 or something else. The HBAR variant would still be in the lmg class as a heavy rifle. The sc would be a g3 replacement. Would people prefer a g3 style weapon over the aug? The AR class would have m16, hk416, m14, ak47, smr and sc2010. All but one would match the weapons they replace. hk416 = m4. sc2010 = g3. However the smr will not match the g36, which is little different than the m4. It is somewhere in between the hk and ak.

You know how it is, people will always complain . But eventually they'll get used to it.

I really want to play the new mod but it's never populated on the other server. If it's ready for high volume testing I say throw it on the main server and see how it goes

1.46 will support all stock gametypes and ftag on first release. The others like ctf I havent had the time to test out much.

 

I had the test server on tdm to keep the action up. Better for testing. But changed it to ftag. Its stock maps only. Due to some server issues its not working with big maps and I am pretty sure all the ones in the rotation are ok. If not let me know.
