With the host backing up the files 3 times a day this caused significant wear on the drive. I have in place now a system with my map guys were we will only have the current maps being used in the map rotation in the user maps folder. Is the OS running on the SSD? The mechanical 2TB can only support so much bandwidth. @@Ruggerxi, I am thinking out loud here, the active maps, lets store them on SSD, and the bulk of the maps on the 2TB mechanical drive. All of COD4 maps that I have, take up close to 16GB on my HDD. So I am guessing for all the COD games and mods 100GB of SSD for active maps would suffice.
