The positive side is that she is now well enough to have the operation and is on the 'active list' just waiting for a suitable matched organ (as our consultant said in that typical black humor, 'just waiting for a train crash, plenty of donors then!'). Thanks to all who ask how things are going, and apologies for not keeping up to date, but I reckon you can understand this! As those who play often will notice I do go on line when I come home for the odd weekend to pay bills etc, then frag as much as poss, with my limited skills!! Thanks to Stretch (Alex) and Rockape (Mat) for keeping me live on the XI forum. See you on line and will endeavour to keep you guys posted. It was our wedding anniversary July 19 and I was allowed to take her out in the Vette for a couple of hours around the Cambridge area, then we had Chinese for eveing dinner, nice day!
