Same for the speedo cable, check the wires not snapped and oil it, make sure you grease the drive. I think the speedometer is burned out.. i got a reader that does live data and it shows speed and no codes... guess i have to find a speedometer cheap for the beater/ trainer. LOL I am using this car for driver training for my son and I got it cheap! everything else is good, so far. Check hall sensor on transmission with multimeter set on 100vac, with drive wheels off ground an meter hooked on 2 leads off sensor.
