You're going into the deep technical depths of networking and ticks. The numbers that are being talked about are generally so small that it's unnoticeable - however with COD you have the added element that its running on a netcode/codebase that is very old and hasn't been updated to work to its fullest with the hardware that we have today. There is another closed Beta starting April 3rd i was told Markoff then open Beta end of April then game will be out in May fingers crossed, not as pretty as Battlefield but so realistic compared to that pile of shit.

Yes there are a few ways to expand upon the base 8 slots. You can invite more members to join you're town. I think you get 9 extra chunks per member. You could join/create a nation (joining one with already purchased claim blocks is easier) to get a max of i think 75 more but thats just a rough guess i really dont remember. The final way is the least popular and most expensive as you can buy individual chunks for 5,000$ a pop. Ask around on the server, there are a few decent sized nations to join.

Hello all - this is an announcement to give you some warning that we will be doing a major upgrade to the website and what to expect. First of all the why we are making the change - simply the current version is no longer supported for security updates and generally it's just nice to have a revamp every so often. We have had this website for a few years now. So when will this be happening - I am hoping either the weekend of the 25th, this will be a late start on the Friday and working through the weekend - an offline page will be in place during the upgrade to provide any updates. it's a very big upgrade and the process will be split up into a few stages: The initial stage will be to do the core features (such as the forums) which will take around a day of hard downtime Then we need to get the website looking right, so the chatbox, homepage, servers, awards etc. which will be about a day of intermittent downtime Then comes a huge task of rebuilding all of the content, this is an automated process but will take approximately a week before everything looks right. Finally comes the fixing everything 'that broke' time which will be a good few years i'm sure So how about the known problems and changes: If you have a different display name to your login name then you will have to use your display name to log in once the upgrade has completed. If you use either the Facebook or Steam logins this will also stop working - if you know this then send me a PM and we can sort it beforehand or otherwise contact me after.

My wife tried to play CoD but gave up after a few minutes she felt sick. Sometimes she listens to the in-game conversations and said it would give her headache. Listening to me gives her enough headache. She will keep practicing but will turn the volume down especially when Zombiefart is on LOL :-)

I started playing CoD when it came out, migrated to United Offensive (and purchased every WW2 themed CoD since. I can't really get into the Modern Warfare games. I think CoD WaW is the best version, but the least I've played. Every time I turn around there is another new map (which is very cool). My skills are ok, but there are some folks that rock the scores. And almost every time you see that they have very low pings. I understand that they are closer to the server, but these people most often get the jump on me and I'd like to understand the technical reasons for it. Do they "see" me a split second before I see them? What is up? For instance, if I ping 70 and someone else pings 14, what exactly is the advantage? When I spec these characters, they play almost the same as I.

I like the original Tracks of My Tears. How good was this guy? Motown was so great but there was Smoky and then there was everybody else; well the Temptations too, and I guess Marvin Gaye. Jeez, I can't even win an argument with myself. To the Afro Americans who made so much music like this I salute you, you were and still are part of my life. How many people did you influence in the pop world, how many British band were influenced by the rhythm . Sadly I go say the say for the BS they play today hip hop R&B and rap crap . Surely the 60s and early 70s will go down as a golden age of great music, they somehow uplifted you . THANKYOU. Card name: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter Seems your Nvidia video card drivers aren't installed.. that windows 7 is just loading the default VGA drivers. Do you know what model Video card you have? Try downloading the correct drivers from Http://WWW.Nvidia.com Then you shouldn't have a direct X issue I believe. Also, Windows 7 Should have at least 2gig of memory at minimum. your info said 1gig.

I like it, but can the server list be moved up to the top or left or right margin? I liked when I could hit the bookmark and boom the server list is right there

@Stringer Expect lag for a while as it's running some heavy background tasks that are rebuilding everything (about 40%) done so far.

Yeah these Red Orchestra/Rising Storm games and others like Insurgency might not look as good as Battlefield or the bigger named/advertised games but they get so much stuff right and accurate whereas a Battlefield looks beautiful but plays like a turd.
