My boys in Monster Truck were playing an outdoor festival yesterday and hooked me up with front row pass and backstage access! Was an amazing day out in the sun with some amazing Rock and Roll!! I think there was 8 bands in total. Castor Troys (local band) Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion (Local Band) The Crownlands (watch for these 2, they are going to hit it big soon... like big big) The Headstones, Monster Truck, Live, Bush and a couple indie bands on side stages. Randy Bobandy of The Trailer Park Boys (if you dont know these guys look em up, if ya are Canadian, ya BETTER know who I am talking about fuckers!!!) was MC and got to hang backstage with him having beers and spliffs after the show! Had a great chat with Hugh Dillon of the Headstones if you have ever seen the tv Show Flashpoint, he is in that show as well as lead singer of The Headstones Heres a few pics of the day, god I love front row concerts!!! As some of you already know I have been in the process of selling the house and moving to the Bay Area. Down scaling a lot, and moving close to family, since a house is just too much and too expensive to maintain for one occupant (yours truly). It is currently in escrow and barring any major issues it closes about the middle of next month. Of course housing prices being what they are condos there can be pricey. But I will own one without a mortgage, which is good. And also being that area prices continually go up for when I sell in the future sometime. After lots of scouting and hunting there is a place I will be putting an offer on. It will be contingent on this one but it gets my name in the hat. I basically have a whole life worth of stuff to decide on whether to keep or not. A lot I already did but there is always more. I wont have a lot of room and I already know I will have to rent a storage place. Hopefully only a small one. More to follow and fingers crossed.

Sorry all....I had an opportunity to slip away a bit...so i did....I promise I'll get the rotation up tonite...swear...lol...

Everything packed up, in storage, papers all signed, out of the house forever, now with my family. Up all night thinking "oh shit now what". Crunch time as they say and its now finding a new place in the bay area I like, hopefully, and not going to break the bank. Its horrendously expensive for what you get. But I knew that. The hard part also, I have a lot of shit that wont fit in a small condo. Downscaled as much as I could but not nearly enough. Not so much too much furniture, maybe one or two items, but a whole lot of boxes of old family stuff. So, more condo hunting this week. Go for location but a very small place, or go for size farther away. Or a sketchy area. Anyways, I thought about out of state, and might again in the future, but my medical problems still tell me that I shouldnt be that far away from family and on my own in case something bad happens. So its a question of whether or not you plan for the worst case scenario. So... wish me luck.

Hey buddy, if you EVER have pneumonia, the absolutely-worst thing you can do is lay around feeling miserable. Get up, walk some stairs, do some things mildly-strenuous to get your lungs working: that way, the alveoli in your lungs (tiny cilia that work junk up to your throat so you can cough it out or swallow it) can keep the bacteria from getting outta hand. I had pneumonia once, and it was from laying around after suffering from influenza. I was taking anti-viral meds, but my ravaged lungs were susceptible to "opportunistic bacteria;" i.e., pneumococcal. Laying around with ravaged lungs and not coughing up the "junk" enables the bacterial colonies to not only grow, but proliferate. Get well soon, sir. Ayaq

Just two things: I believe in "Karma (well, I'm not Hindu, I'm a Christian, but I do believe in "What goes around, tends to REALLY come around!")," so it'll get back to those cruel humans. And, I'd like them to try and treat me that way. Really like it . . .I'd go into a rage: my Dad used to pick fights with the biggest guys in the bars, so I can handle "tough" guys. As I was dusting myself off and walking away, and Dad is patting me on the back and yelling "That's my son! That's my son!," I would always ask him, "Dad, why are you always picking fights with the biggest guys in the bar? You know I'm not gonna let them hurt you?" Ayaq

Use it for target practice and get another TV. Looks like the panel is going bad. Try to stay away from newer Philips brand stuff. They use the cheapest shit parts that they can get. Sadly they used to made decent stuff back in the day. It's been 20+ years since I've seen anything decent with that name on it.

Moving from Monterey to Walnut Creek. Going to miss it here but gotta do what you gotta do. Condo's are just as expensive here if that was my choice. Who knows what the future may hold. But barring something bad happening in the housing market, when I do sell/move again I would still be able to afford something much nicer in another area of the country. If circumstances permit and its an area I would like. Maybe next door to Disneyworld and get a yearly pass. ?
