You know what I think is even more wrong that you having to give up your job ? People have there surgeries postponed because of people refusing to get vacinated and catching Covid. Filling up the hospitals. I agree its your body BUT your choice should not mean somebody else should suffer for it. Why do other people have to suffer through this another winter because other people do not want the jab ? Your choice but remember we all have to live with our choices. Sometimes its not what we thought it would be. So suck it up butter cup. All those kids you thaught and reffed now do not get to benifit from your knowedge. Besides being a cop for three decades, I worked in volunteer fire-rescue/EMS during half of that same time period. There is a saying in fire-rescue ... "walk with a purpose". In other words, don't run. Walk swiftly and be capable to perform your task. Well ... it was right before I became a lieutenant I believe ... working house fire. We showed up -- fire showing -- and in full gear started to run up to the front door to make entry. That's when I Peter Griffin'd out on the front lawn. Tripped over something. I was rolling around in the front yard like Randy from the movie A Christmas Story. Full gear ... turnouts, SCBA ... Somebody helped me up off of the lawn and we did our thing. I was a complete idiot. Only later was I taught "walk with a purpose" ... move fast, but cautious. Get the job done and do it right. Life lessons. I'll never forget it. The same thing applies to ALL of us in life. Get it right the first time ... lives depend on it, including your own.

The Mrs. turned 65 today! She will now receive her Canadian Old Age Security (OAS) check every month for life! It’s the government pension here in Canada. I will receive my first check next June. This is my issue with the whole debate... Those who say they don't want it, don't give a shit if you get yours or not. If it works, then it shouldn't matter if I have mine. Those in favor of it seem to have the need to jam that decision down others throat. I honestly feel this also boils down to politics as well. One of the first house fires I was on, my Lieutenant and I were pulling a 1 3/4" line to what appeared to be a kitchen fire We scooted down the hall and hooked into the kitchen area. Tons of heat but we couldn't find the fire. Crew in the walkout basement found the fire so we began to pull out of the kitchen and help with secondary search. LT stood up and fell through the floor right where he stood. Fire had dug a hole through the floor. He fell about a foot and a half and ended up landing on top of the refrigerator in the basement, standing up. Fortunately the crew had a knock on the fire and that refrigerator was there. We laugh our butts off about it now, but that could have been a really bad situation.

May push my retirement plans forward over this. Pisses me off nobody cares about the folks that remained working during the whole event. Natural immunity? Not possible, and we don't count it as existing. You took the chance and kept things running before there were vaccines? Tough shit, Emperors orders, get vaxxed or be shut out of life. There are a few people that sit and watch the spawn areas and get massive high scores because of it, takes the fun out of playing and I just fucking rage quit, some are members and some are not, I know this because I spectated the ones doing it! How the fuck does that make it any fun for you! What it does is make people leave the game!

In some situations (such as playing freeze tag) you come to a point, where it is nessesary to kill people from spawn to win. Otherwise they'll respawn their teammates. In Game especially in DM you respawn every time somewhere else, so it's up to you to get rid of the 'spawn killing' people by killing them. And last but not least, most of the time, you have a few seconds spawn protection, so again, it's up to you to run and/or hide.

Been a football coach for over 15 years now, trained many youth teams and always felt bad when I switched categories, so I kinda feel ya. I'll withhold myself from giving you the finger this time Let's hope those kiddo's got some valuable lessons along the years to help them in life and I'm sure they had.
