RIP I am sorry to hear about your eyesight issues. It is something a lot of us older players are dealing with just like sore or cramping hands because of those issues as well. I have been dealing with my eyes when looking at a screen so I have a older pair of glasses that only really help me see my monitor but the reflexes aren't the same. Plus with my history of Heart issues and High Blood Pressure problems that is the main reason my wife strongly asked me to not use my mic while in game so I won't let other players talking shit get me so pissed off. Please don't give up playing with your pals, the COD2 servers are filled with older players and the TDM server on the weekends has many of us older players and every other map is a sniper map with a long range scope as a option so you can hide and slowly search for the enemy. I hope the Dr's can find a way to restore your vision to something that makes life more like you are used to. See you this weekend I hope 9am to 1pm Sat. and Sun.

My cataracts were so bad the eye Doctor said I was driving illegally. He was able to do cataracts and Lasik at the same time. Now I don't even wear glasses and it has been a year and work 10 hours a day on a PC with 3 Screens.

My grumpy old man just had Cataract surgery the other day. His Doctor says that after his eyes clear up they want to do Lasik surgery. He's 76 years old. There is no age restrictions on it and they can reattach a detached retina if that is your problem.

Lock-on rockets can also be used against helicopters. Laser guided Rocket Launcher: Once a laser guided rocket has been launched, you have full control over where it travels too. To control the missiles just aim at the position where you want them to travel to. Dark Matter cannon: The damage of the Dark Matter Cannon is decided on how long you have charged it for, to charge the cannon up you hold fire while having it selected then release to fire. A number in the right hand side of you screen indicates the maximum damage that it will inflict on the enemy. Freeze Grenade: Freeze grenades replace flash grenades and are ideal for reducing a players vision and slowing them down EMP Grenade: The EMP Grenade is a very useful item, it can be used to disable enemy Auto Turrets, Laser Mines, Sticky Proximity Grenade, diable cloaking and decrease players visibility. Sticky Proximity Grenade: Proximity grenades will stick to any surface (apart from players), once it has stuck to a surface it will then watch for any enemies that come close to it, then detonate. Time Bubble: Time bubbles stop any kind of bullet and explosions from passing in or out of it. Time bubbles can also repel enemies that get too close. Vortex Portals: These spawn at random TDM spawns through out the match, if you go in one you get teleported to a random TDM spawn. Rage: To get Rage, you must get 10 kills with less than 3 deaths. While you have rage your health regenerates and your speed is increased. Spawn beacons: Spawn beacons allow you to have some control over where you respawn, if you have a beacon deployed when you respawn you will spawn at a random spawn within a set radius of it instead of spawning near your team mates. Spawn beacons can also alert you when it "sees" enemy players nearby.

Hey buddy hang in there we always enjoy playing with you! Have they given you any options for eyesight? as we get older, we all go through things don't let that stop you from doing the things you like there's always some time to recover, modify and help you heal you just have to have the will and mentality to move forward. Have you thought of doing Lasik? I had it done and it helped tremendously don't know if you're a candidate for it.

I was making the point that the term "Assault Rifle" can be used to describe any weapon used to "Assault" someone. Hell a damn BB gun could be an "Assault" rifle if used to "Assault" some one. See where I going ? The term "Assault Rifle" is used as much as the term "Racist" by extremists' on the left to further their agenda. We all know anyone who doesn't agree with them is "Racist" !! How long till all gun owners are "Racist" !!!!! Give them a few weeks.

Well Pete you called them "Assault Rifles" which is not true. And the "Assault Rifle" ban did not ban AR-15's. It banned gun manufacturers from selling weapons with a magazine capacity over 10 rounds. It required a "Fixed" stock and a "Pinned" flash suppressor. Did that do anything to deter "Crazies" ? No. Anyone can go to an auction, gun show or any gun shop (online or brick & mortar) and buy parts to modify it. You can replace the fixed stock with a collapsible one and even change the barrel and purchase "hi capacity" magazines. The AR is the most popular rifle sold and is pretty reasonable in price. So naturally it will be used more often. Columbine was an Aimpoint 995 Mini and other "Non" AR-15 styles weapons. If the most popular car produced cause more vehicular homicides from crazies running people over, do we ban them ???? Where does the banning stop ??? And do not forget it was a "legal" gun owner with an AR-15 that put a stop to the Southerland Springs shooters rampage.

I wish people that know nothing about firearms (or rights, for that matter) would quit posting nonsense. Ignorance can be repaired, but stupid is DNA deep. Assault rifle is just a catch phrase used by knee jerkers. it gives them a feel good righteous label to tag something. Armalite was the name of the company that Stoner started.

I just wish idiots would stop referring that the AR15 is an "Assault Rifle". AR does not stand for "Assault Rifle". And rifles based on the AR15 lower receiver design, come in many calibers, including shotguns. So to ban a weapon based on looks is asinine. But I do agree the application process for any weapon should be an in depth process. I hold a couple different type of firearms license and the process for them was way, way, more stringent than just buying an over the counter gun. Im talking, fingerprints, registering with the local sheriffs department, and a wait of several months for the detailed background check to get processed. But..... thats for law abiding owners. Criminals dont buy through local gun dealers. In my neck of the woods every weekend there is a gun auction, or an estate auction with guns going on. No background checks at these events. So this debate is pretty much a mute subject.

Here's a really crazy thought, why not make a mandatory prison sentence of 7 years or whatever the real experts determine, a sentence which could have a very meaningful deterrent. For anyone who's commits a crime period with a weapon that has the ability to cause serious bodily injury. Like a gun, knife, baseball bat, hammer/axe etc. Punish the criminal and not the honest citizen and if a death happens during the crime with a weapon life without parole

I hope you or a family member are never a victim. Cause if their death could have been prevented by them defending themselves, I suspect your "tune" would change. Those of us with common sense know, getting rid of handguns will not change a damn thing. Take away the guns and they will use whatever they can find to kill. But hey, I respect anyone's decision to not defend themselves and or their loved ones. Just dont count on my gun carrying ass to save you Your choice to be preyed on. Remember its better to own a gun and not need it, then to need a gun and not have one.
