names do not show up when ppl talk. Can we make all maps 3 rounds like it was the other day!

I am getting 10-15 delays on map changes which is significantly different for pre-game changes. I am also experiencing delays in game play where I am shot and die then I see the player doing the shooting. Similarly of opposing player coming around corners. This was also not my experience prior to these changes. I have changed nothing in my computer set up. I aim , fire ...sometimes multiple shots directly on target and die by a single shot with great frequency. In close combat I routinely shoot first and virtually alway die immediately. Playing now is getting pointless. An suggestions on how to fix this???? I am running i7-13700kf processor, 32 gb ram, 12 gb video , rtx 4070 ISP...2375 mbps down and 2280 mbps up.

Ran this and got a iw3mp.exe- entry point not found and then some other shit about kernel somebody.....so confused

They will work now. I had put a server var for steam players so their names would show up properly, but its unintended effect was on CD players, it would only use their folder name. I have fixed this now. @Totty Other people who have issues with names and who use Steam, please launch the multiplayer EXE directly. Known Behaviors - Names don't show on voice chat activation

Admin tags aren't working, My name shows fine as Totty>XI< but without Adm on the end. I've tried the mynameis function but still no joy. @Blaze @Smeggie Does your Mod tags show?

For folks with steam, launch the multi-player game directly from the installation folder, otherwise COD4x client will use your steam name as the game name. I recommend creating a desktop shortcut.
