I've smoked for 30 years and am comfortable enough now to finally say I am smoke free!! And it's all thanks to a little pill called Champix! I call it a miracle drug because that's exactly what it was for me! You still need the desire to want to quit and if you have that desire and want a little assistance...check out Champix. It's bloody incredible!! It gives ya weird dreams and dry mouth but that was the worst of it for me. Now I say...bring on the food LOL!! I hated smoking, hated the taste, hated the smell, hated the fact that i lit up within 2 minutes of waking up, but tried multiple times to quit using patches, and will power none of which worked for me. Then along came the miracle drug Champix... made Quitting seem like the most natural thing to do. I didnt get any side effects except for a bit of a dry mouth. a few of my friends have tried it, 1 or 2 quit successfully, a few said the pill made them almost crazy with weird dreams. I know not to have even one puff Rugger. I quit once before for 14 months and thought I could have that 1 puff and found out REAL soon after that , it was a HUGE mistake. Took me 6 or 7 years before I was ready to give it up again. Only differnce this time is I've learned from my past mistakes when I quit so I know for sure the habit is gone and couldn't be happier about it. Feel good about hat as it is a good things.The drug you are taking or taken is a psych drug reason for the dreams. It help rewire your nurve endings to curve the addiction. Most people it helps but like you said. you have to want to. I had another habit once and Tegratal fices it. I have never looked back but a few times. lol For cigs... the money part is not a problem because I roll my own sokes (everyone thinks i am rolling pot but i dont look the type). $14 a LB and 100 papers are 1.75. Plus i helps descize the weed smell and I can care less about a smoke till i toke. I quit for 2 years and my best friend came to town and we play a game (game last 8 hour minimum) from high school called stock market (better than monoploy) and we had a blast.... and I smoked half his back. That is all she wrote. Point is don't give in to the temptations.... not for beer or a piece of pussy.. ok maybe pussy but nothing else. I quit 4 years ago (Cold Turkey) and I can say, I dont even get the urge to smoke. After the 1st month of quitting the "urge" was gone for me. But I was a less than a pack a day smoker. I quit because I had just had my 6th neck surgery and wasnt allowed to drive and my wife would not get me any !!!!! She was my "Cold Turkey" !!!!!!! Still Is !!!!!!!
