I guess if it was very recently it might have been too little too late. At least you get to stay home from the in-laws and game on XI. I was on holiday hundreds of miles away. For a simple job of a nurse sticking you with a needle it seems one has to jump through blasted hoops just to get a 30-second appointment! And became sick with the flu soon after too. Never again !!! Doctor said I was one of the few that gets sick from the shot. So it happens. I Can still remember crawling to use the toilet cause I was too dissy to stand up! Every joint & gland in my body ached & I was frying with a high fever along with a terrible sore throat. My family had 5 kids & it took a couple days before my parents even knew how sick we were. I really thought I was Dying. Wound up bedridden for days. That's true that m8 when you got the flu you certainly know about it, i had flu about 4 times in my life last one was about 20 years ago, gastric flu it went on for a month, i lost nearly a stone in weight and had a very sore arsehole afterwards, remember flu epidemics have killed millions of people throughout time.
