Shepards are great dogs but they always seem to have some kind of health problem that takes them way too soon. Our 7 year old dropped dead of a heart attack and I swore that was my last one. I lost my baby recently at the age of 14. A mass overtook her lungs and she finally gave up the fight. They couldnt do surgery for her but I let him keep her peacefully and she went on her on.
