First it started with the laptop experiencing constant freezing/hanging and I finally narrowed it down to the nVidia drivers. Once I removed it the laptop would run indefinitely whereas with the driver it might only last a few minutes before freezing again. Then I decided to update my desktop to the latest driver and experienced the same headache! I rolled back the driver to version 320.49 and things are smooth sailing. So if I was you mate update everything and see how you get on...
