There's not even a displayport or DVI-D/I port. For me, it's perfect, colors are beautiful and that contrast ratio is just... Wow.

I use this and LOVE it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KYCSRSG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

1440p, 27inch, IPS, very low input lag (<20ms). Input lag is something that is widely overlooked but it's very important for gaming. You really have to research carefully to find the measured input lag. Neither retailers nor manufacturers will list it. You have to look at websites like this one: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_gw2765ht.htm

BTW, 1440p is the SHIT. I'm never going back to 1080p. It doesn't even compare! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it!

This is what im using at the moment after swapping from an LG 27" 60hz,which was a good monitor but the colours were no way near as vibrant and clear as the ASUS...plus high refresh rate seems to be the thing these days and you do see a difference from 60Hz.I spent weeks trawling sites and reading reviews before finally settling for it.Recommended.

NO NO NO!!! Your all are truly IDIOTS!!!

Get the Asus 144hz 27" monitor

https://www.asus.com/Monitors/VG278HE/

Your wasting your money buying a GPU that will run 200 FPS if your monitor will only handle 60hz...and lets face it...144hz is 100 times (okay 2 times) better than a 60hz lame butt monitor...

Your welcome,

jn

Not a 27" but IMHO this is the best monitor that you can get for the money right now...

Many of us in XI have this monitor and it is simply awesome.

I don't like ASUS monitors myself, they have what I call "yellowish" whites and they tend to be kinda dark. Samsungs are great but they are too bright. I've got a 24" Benq, but I still honestly prefer my old 22" LG I bought in 2012. Viewsonic monitors the best IMHO, I agree with Johnny DOS.

Here's a little info about the US company, which is good for your economy.LOL  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ViewSonic

Cliff Asness, head of the hedge fund firm AQR Capital, praised the quality of ViewSonic monitors in a Bloomberg interview. After throwing his ViewSonic monitor to the ground three times without breaking it, he concluded that the company must either be building "good computer screens or my punch isn’t what it used to be."
