Everything works fine except the graphics card. My first one worked fine for about a week and my monitor would just randomly go black with no display at all but the sound would still work and everything. The integrated graphics in the motherboard works so I just thought it was a faulty graphics card, so i replaced the graphics card for a new one of the same kind and now it's doing the same thing. Monitor is going black and won't show any display. So I am out of options of what is wrong with it... The graphics card is: XFX R9 290(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150697) and the motherboard is: Gigabyte GA- Z97X-SLI 1150(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128714) My power supply is 1000W so I know I have enough power, so I'm wondering maybe XFX is just a piece of crap or maybe they aren't compatible? Idk, hopefully some of you smart computer people will know what's wrong lol.

How do I know? Same shit happened to me. It could also be a driver issue, go check to see if your drivers are up to date or if it is up to date, roll back an update. Could be the drivers. Could have a bad graphics card. Always disable onboard graphics. Install newest drivers. Double check the seating of the card and the seating of the power cables. If its a windows computer make sure you only have how ever many displays are attached showing (i had a problem with it still registering my onboard even after it was disabled and it would show it as a display). Buy and amd graphics card.
 Awards

I believe it is the drivers. I tried everything, new leads, monitor, power supply even fresh windows install on new drives. I have also read on AMD support that there is a windows update file that can affect it. Nisty* and ANGU5
 Awards
