Hey All,

So, my mouse is slowly dying... it's an OLD Logitech... the pads are worn out and I can tell the button response isn't what it used to be.

This is what I have now

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Optical-Gaming-High-Precision-Engine/dp/B0055QZ216/ref=sr_1_36?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1486438228&sr=8-36&keywords=gaming+mouse&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011%2Cp_89%3ALogitech

SO...  I'd like your feedback on a good gaming mouse that will NOT make my wallet cry!!!

Thanks in advance!!

I use the Death adder elite. Works great. Tried the Mamba but had issues with it tripping out like a lot of others ( check online reviews of it). Either one is not cheap. They are actually within a couple of dollars of each other.

I use a Death Adder, I have the settings turned way down... when I first installed it I would zoom my sights right passed my target then have to swing back to my target. It takes a while to coordinate your eye/hand/mouse...also be aware that with any Razer product you will have weekly updates....I finally got tired of the frequent updates and uninstalled the Razer software and adjusted the mouse movement with the Microsoft mouse software.

In short, go to Best Buy and try all the mice, see which one feels the best with the best placement of buttons...

Yeah, I'm not all about that wireless stuff...  even if it is chargeable, I don't want to be in the middle of a game and have it die

I had a R.A.T TE that I liked a lot but the thumb button springs wore out way too fast. If you like what you have and it lasted why not just get another, unless you don't want to drop $91 on a mouse, I can Identify.

Most newer mice seem to be designed for children or people with very slim tiny hands and they make my hand cramp.

I have been using an ASUS ROG GX950 for a little under 2 years. I love it, best mouse I've had since the original Logitech MX518 It's wider than most Logitechs, has weights and programmable adjustable dpi up to 8200. It has mouse software you can use to set  dpi levels but do not need the mouse software to run or be installed once it is programmed. I have used it on Win7 and Win10 with no issues.  I absolutely recommend this mouse.

I got it after my deathadder broke on me after a couple of years. It`s a great mouse. Know a lot of the BF players use it. And... That amazone price is spot on. I paid way more than that!

This is what I use. Only issue I have is that I wish it was a tad wider.  Other than that, I love it.  The little red button on top lets you fire three rounds with single shot weapons by pushing it one time.  Works great for making pistols and single shot rifles fire fast.m  And, it is pretty cheap.  Been using it for about 5 years now I think, no issues at all.  I'm like you and don't like the idea of batteries or recharging my mouse.

i used all kind of mice brands over the years, Razer, Steelseries, Microsoft, Logitec,... they all die after time, sometimes even after 3 months.

love the steelseries comfort(to me the best for comfort), but their clicks always die quickly. always had problems with all my razer mice, but must admit the deathadder is one of the best.

logitec, i was disapointed by the wheel (feels like a chinese gadget to me)

i would say Less is more (if u choose wisely)

dont fall for the look, nor the gadgets, nor the numbers.

right now im on a Zowie EC1evo and i absolutely love it. its super strong, quality materials and best clicks and sensor on the market for a way more correct price (+-45) than other brands offer.

i would go for the deathadder or a Zowie (coz they are both classics)

but then it also depend on the games u play, these are more for FPS

Ended up ordering the Logitech G502 off Amazon!  With all of the Amazon gift cards my wife and I had, I paid $15.18 out of pocket!
