DM2 server spawn killing/spawn camping.

Ok I added a 4 second timer for spawn protection. This gets you almost all the way down to the ground when you are on a parachute. Also there should be no more bitching about someone spawn camping cause this is allowed on this server. The rule is this. Spawn Killing is NOT allowed repeat Not allowed. With this timer a person has 4 seconds to get away from spawn. If they choose to stand there and get shot after 4 seconds that's their problem, not the game admins problem. We shouldn't be seeing anymore spawn killing/camping videos on the demo manager anymore for this server.

Are 4 Seconds engough? Just when you parachute it takes longer than 4 sec. When you landed you have not engough time to leave the place.If so, can you eliminate the parachute sequence?

should have just left it the way it was.....I usually take a quick look around and move. with the chutes...I treated that like a game within a game....will I make it all the way down? will I kill someone on my way down? but usually I accepted the fact I was going to get it ....I mean you only Parachute one time in every match I believe.....but I liked parachuting in....seeing that I have never done it in real life

I'm going to have to keep watching out for this to verify, but last night I turned and saw a guy over there shooting, so I shot at him.  I immediately got the spawn protection message.  I think you also lose/drop your gun or something, is that right?  It's only happened 2 times for me since it was put into effect so I'm still figuring out how this works...

But, if someone has spawned and is shooting, they are no longer protected is how I believe this should work.  If you open fire, it should be open season on your ass, too, lol.

this is how I have it in the config

Street, I was under the impression that parachuting was your main mode of transport.
