Been trying to save up for a new Graphics card and have come across quite a few newer GPU's. What is the best one that I could buy for sub $200?

Current specs:

MPG Z390 Gaming Pro

Intel Core i5-8500

NVidia GeForce 730

24GB Samsung RAM (3x8GB sticks)

Might be interested in this one myself. Depends on what you can get for $200 these days. My 960 works fine because I dont play any recent games but its starting to show its age.

I second this. F.e. the GTX1660. A GeForce GTX 1660 Ti might be getting OC out of the box. I got a GTX1060 6GB that I got for 90 euro's(Ali Express send me two fans for it for 12 USD to fix it) So check out the second hand market soon as the Super's are out.

If you had more money, well, I have an eye on the 2070 Super.

Try to get a (second handed) GTX1060 6GB (not 3!) for like 100 bucks. Less power needed (6pins instead of 8pins) and compare:

You would be surprised, if you put all Gen's of Intel from 2011 on 3.0Ghz, that all tested scores by 3DMark06 are likely the same.  Yes with that GTX1060 6GB. The bottleneck, with a 6700k was not there for me. Not even with a (can be OC'd with my test board)  i7-3770T. I have a CPU for @Cobryis_XIhere and his motherboard is coming in. I wonder how his i7-9700k is doing ;)

Don't get the RX 570. The RX 580 8G card is a couple $$ more but the performance increase more than makes up for it.

I'm running a RX 480 8G card. Same thing as the RX 580 but slightly slower core clock speed.  I bought it used off of Ebay for $100 shipped to my door. I would NOT buy a used AMD RX card. Most of the used ones on Ebay were pulled out of BitCoin farming machines. They were run at 100% capacity 24/7 for months on end.

I had to send mine back and get another one from the seller after I started getting artifacts with it. The "new" used one that he sent me seems to be working fine. I tested it with MSI Kombustor graphics card stress test utility and GPU benchmark for a couple of hours. If it passes the extended MSI Kombustor stress and break-in tests it's good to go.  He had a couple dozen of these cards up forsale.

New RX 580 8g $210 + $30 instant rebate with Promo code = $190.79 after Tax and Shipping. + $20 mail in Rebate.  $170.79

It Smokes the more expensive GTX 1060 and the new GTX 1660.
