New >XI< and or wants to be an >XI< - Important information

I have been MIA off an on for years because real life responsibilities. However, coming back to the servers and forums after so long, I not only see new members, but also members who didn't have tags, nor were even admins. I am very happy to see the new members, people who i played with years become members, and >XI< members who are not admins.  I dunno who the fuck thought it was a good idea for Sabre to be an admin (just kidding).  But nevertheless, I am so proud to still be part of this family.  

>XI< is not only a gaming clan (community) but it is a family.  We fight like siblings, get pissed off with one another,  and talk shit to each other all the time.  It is what family does, and >XI< is no exception.  But in the end, >XI<  <--- that is what reminds us to forgive one another because we are family.  I can remember when I first popped into an >XI< server and immediately made friends.  I was quiet for a few maps, then I said fuck you to a XI (might have been Pete or RocApe, but i don't remember.  but we laugh, and then from there it progressed to me becoming an Official >XI<.   I and many other's have seen the ups and downs our family has gone through out the years, including losses from our fallen brothers and sisters and experienced our fair share of drama and snowflakes and yet, we still remain strong and our bond unbroken.  We have done a lot of things together such as drunk >XI< nights where as if you get frozen you take a shot.  We have watched movies together as well, and also have done knife nights. 

Once you become an >XI< you can go back, but you will always come back.  It is like a cult and these tags hold sentimental value because of the friendships it makes. So when you join our family, wear your tags with extreme pride and love one another like siblings.  With that being said, we are an adult clan with adult shit talking and so forth.  The Fuck yous, and middle fingers, are all fun and jokes.  We are all old skool types and love offensive jokes so snowflakes are welcome but dont cry.  The only thing we will never allow is racism.  So please do not be offended because we are known to be some hardcore assholes and offenders.  (everyone who knows me, knows I am).     I am so proud to be apart of this family that I even streamed my wedding ceremony in 2011 so the >XI< 's who couldn't make it  were able to watch.  So >XI< means a lot to not only me, but to many of us and we hope that you too value it as we do. 

When you are in the server - 

Thawing -  I have seen a lot of you newbies not thaw correctly or don't pay attention to those who are frozen and you walk right by. STOP.....  Start fucking thawing and look at the mini map.  You can thaw two people at the same time (It's like having a 3-some).   If you are having a bad day, or are being lazy, or just want to be in the server, then do what i do, sit back and thaw and enjoy.  I have a medal for it some where for being a thaw bitch.  And no, I really don't suck, I just have fun because i do not take the games too serious.  

Accusations of Hacking -  We have strict rules in place for hackers.  If you think someone is hacking, record and don't bitch about it in the server.  You can joke about it and say you fucking hacker newbie, etc, but don't make a big deal about it.  You can go into spec and try to do a video and send it to an admin for review.   If someone is hacking, they will eventually get caught and we will shame them like we usually do (and ban them). 

 

>XI< is one of the most successful gaming communities out there, so let's contribute to our continued success together as a family.

I whole-heartedly agree that the XI servers are a different breed of gamers.  I recall the first time I jumped into a FTAG game, after being a die-hard CTF player for years.  I had no idea of what was going on, but I quickly figured it out with quick support and help from fellow games and became converted because the big difference on the XI servers is the amazing teamwork and communication displayed.  It is real live tacticians working together which is pretty cool and actually fairly rare.  I found this much more stimulating than the run and gun style play with the CTF server I was on previously....and not to be named.  Got a good thing going here XI!

OH come on FunStick....making me an ADM was the best decision the head adms has ever made.  They now get an adm who thinks like the other players and will defend all the players, but if you piss me off, I am your worst enemy!!!  

I know I piss people off....especially the new players that do not know me. I have also pissed salty players off as well, but I don't care. At the end of the day, I do not jump to conclusions without doing my homework first. I have been accused of hacking, I have been called many names, I have been told personally by players that they don't like me for one reason or another (I just laugh at them) but to me, it is part of the game because I am better than most of the players on this server.....JK or am I....I will never tell. 

Lets just put it this way, I am very laidback in the server when it comes to the bashing of other players because I believe we are all friends (for the most part) so I do not get offended with the bashing nor do I stop it because I believe we should have thick skin while playing on our adult server. There is a mute button for a reason!!! But if you do cross the line (the line that is in my book), I do hold you accountable for your own actions, which can piss people off as well. It is a no win situation for us ADMs, We hear all the time that ADMs do not do their job, but when an ADM does his/her job, then we are bashed for it so like I said, its a no win situation for us and I believe the ADMS of this clan has the thickest skins of them all!!!
