    My nephew, the cuber

Some of you may remember my post awhile back, where I shared a video of my nephew solving cube puzzles, like Rubik's and beyond, with incredible speeds. He's 13 years old, just started 7th grade, and is awesome at whatever he decides to become involved with - I'm very proud of him! Well, he's been at it for months now, and has acquired quite a considerable collection of different puzzles, and has honed his skills to the point of entering his first cubing competition on September 13. (I unfortunately won't be able to be there, as I'll be in Charlotte at XI Fest, oops lol). This is a pretty big deal for him, the competition is a regional one as part of the World Cubing Association. He has a YouTube channel with only about 20 subscribers so far, so what I'm asking is that you take a look at his videos so he gets more views, and please subscribe to his channel. I think it would be awesome for him to know that people from all over the world are watching him! Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVyCNnIQyb4WnY9HIUIWiVg Thank you all for your time, and your support! P.S. He has most of the cubes pictured here! I think all except for the two large square ones on the top right......

    Angelz Acknowledgement.

Im a noob and just joined. I don't know if Angelz does this for everyone but the Angel created me a magnificent sig. without me asking. I you just want to acknowledge the thoughtfulness extended to the noob by Angelz. Seems to me Angelz is a huge asset to the Xtremeidiots Clan. Talent and kindness must be acknowledged.

I think Timmah, Queeny and others are correct that the employee should be there to work and learn. However, sometimes it takes a manager to tease out potential that they might see in an employee. Everyone has shortcomings and if given enough time and the employee doesn't turn those shortcomings around or is a detriment to the job or team then then they need to transferred to a new role or terminated. I personally am more of a nurturer but only if there is potential in the employee and only to a point then I ?

    Yet Another Pizza!

Fried eggs on a pizza are awesome for breakfast. Everything you put on a pizza is like in an omelette and the crust is like having a quiche.

    Yet Another Pizza!

Minus the egg for me, looks great. This pizza here, I made with bread flour this time, instead of all-purpose. Much chewier crust. I bake it at ~550 F on the top rack for about 4 minutes, then I rotate it 180 degrees and move it to the bottom rack, for 2 more minutes, with the bottom broiler element turned on to crisp the bottom. I use a pizza screen to bake, instead of a pizza pan or steel or stone.

    scallop season opened

Gulf County scallop season opened this past Saturday! And well, damn if they are not just delicious! Sweet bay scallops OMG! very simple, a stick of lightly salted butter, an awesome little smacking of fresh crushed garlic, 1 fine diced jalapeno, 1/2 of a yellow onion....sauteed for just a few seconds 20 maybe..... add some white wine and some black fish seasoning and serve over angel hair pasta! also a salad with spicy Italian dressing, DAMNIT MAN! it's WELL WORTH all the pain staking crap to get to the end!

Good God (falling over) I absolutely agree with Angu5, older people have a natural assumption that they know more and are better, not so, you do get assholes everywhere in life, but anyone who is in charge of other people needs to realise that the major part of their job is to listen and explain. They should also remember that everyone has a bad day, and not everyone can grasp things immediately, that said if they consistently wilfully refuse to work correctly they must go, no doubt. Strangely I found the higher educated ones to be the real arseholes, they would join with a (example) Phd in divinity, knowing nothing about the industry they had joined, they would then milk the old timers dry for their knowledge, then once they thought they knew something would strut around giving the same old timers instructions, this led to the old timers clamming up and saying nothing to everyone new, creating a vicious circle. The things I noticed over the years were the decreasing laughs at work, political correctness, an explosion of non productive skills that seemed to need constant empire building, safety, hr, quality assurance and environmental matters. Once proud Company's with pioneering spirit lost to bullshit and accountants, who now rule the roost, the majority of employees in major corporations know little or nothing about their industry and have not progressed through it. Older and more experienced workers should not consider younger people to be a threat to their jobs, they should take into account they are nervous, unsure and still finding their way, they have to be encouraged, however if their attitude is completely wrong they need to be corrected, and that is getting very difficult to do.

They are also called "Cursed images" you should look that up " Cursed Images are images that are captioned with the phrase "Cursed Image." They are generally pictures or photographs that are seen as disturbing to the viewer, either due to the poor photo quality or content within the image that is abnormal or illogical "
