Hi all, There is a major website upgrade that needs to be applied. This is expected to cause issues with themes and plugins as the core functionality is changing. There should be no significant user impacting changes in terms of usability. Some features may disappear though. I will look to prepare for the upgrade over the next couple/few days and then implement. I would expect there to be significant disruption over the course of a day when the changes are applied. Will update this thread before the change. There may be outages to Teamspeak, the portal, the redirect and some game servers due to restarts that may occur during the change period. Duc

Update................ On October 21st 2020 at 6:20 am I was riding to work it was dark but conditions were ok, when a large flatbed lorry came out of a side road at speed and clipped me which caused me to spin and ended up wrapping myself and the bike round a tree. The lorry did not slow down and did not stop. I was rushed to hospital for scans and miraculously I had no broken bones just a lot of cuts and bruising and soft tissue damage to my shoulder neck and hip on my left side, the side that hit the Tree. My Bike was a total right off and only one witness other than myself but the police have had no luck tracking the driver down. I believe that the only reason I walked away with with minor injuries was the quality of the Leathers and helmet i was wearing the bike was in bits and the frame bent I think I hit the tree around 25-30 Mph so that helped too. Anyway after a couple of months recovery and physio I got my self a New Bike and she is a beauty. Took her out today and did around 30 miles on it I have not stopped grinning since. (Also new helmet and leathers because i had to replace the damaged ones) New Bike My Previous Bike that at the time of accident was only a month old still new really

Good to hear you are ok, very lucky as most cases like that don't end well for the rider. I don't ride myself anymore but did when I was younger and even then, always wore my leathers. Seen too many that just wear shorts or track pants, etc. and when the bike dumps, it's not a good sight. So good on you for wearing the right gear, although didn't prevent the accident as it's quite visible, it surely saved your life or at least from worse injury. Nice new bike too. Safe riding.

I have my own theory why they do not see you based on observations over the years where I have lost a headlight in the car (before it is replaced). In the dark drivers expect to see two lights horizontally across the road as they approach. We need a psychologist here, but one light does not register in their minds as a vehicle, try blanking one of your car headlights out and notice the late reactions.

I agree 100% with regards visibility that's why i was wearing all HI VIZ gear and a white helmet lol and he still did not see me. Unfortunately i can not remember anything after the initial impact so i have also invested in a camera for my bike front and back so god forbid it happens again I will have video evidence for the police. Wondered where you were, sorry to hear that but predictable, told you not to buy a new bike, to every new rider out there it is highly likely you will have an incident or drop it in the first couple of years, buy a cheap used bike. I wasn't as lucky as you, but one piece of advice I learned over 45 years in the saddle, they struggle to see you in broad daylight think how much this is increased in the dark or poor weather.

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well : Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat) ? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant. I love playing, been off and on playing for 28 years, more on in the last 6 years than off. Currently own a '72 Gibson Deluxe (used by lead guitarist of Monster Truck to record 90% of their first album) a 2011 '61 reissue in TV Yellow (Only 100 were made that year/color sold exclusively in Canada, she is a rare one, also, lead guitarist of Monster Truck has one LOL) a 2018 Les Paul Special in TV Yellow (yes i love TV Yellow) and a dark green '92 Gibson Special My guitars far outshine my abilities LOL

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Have enjoyed playing on this server tremendously over the years, and appreciate the camaraderie of the long-term gamers. I'll tell you a bit about how I ended up with my screen name - I'm a big fan of zombie movies and games, and was doing my residency when the game Left 4 Dead first came out. I was immediately drawn to it. I think it was my first Steam/Valve game and as I thought about a name to pick, Rigor Mortis was the inescapable conclusion due to my medical background and the zombie genre of the game.

I stocked up years ago on ammo and reloading supplies! In my mind I was getting ready for retirement, man has that PAYED OFF!

i know what you mean, i moved from city to country on a lake side fabulous place and view BUt internet is limited. i pay for 8 mbps but usually its around 4-5 mbps and on prime time (late afternoon and early evening its slows down to a 2mbps , and sometimes not enough to join a server.(still long to downlad new maps) Only DSL phone line here on the post but i didnt took it too expansive and not even 1 meg. So i turn on an antenna internet (not satelitte ) its a local provider that installed emitting antennas on top of the hills , and they got linked with fiber optic. At home i have a small antenna receiver connected with a POE in house . speed is not so fast but dowenload is 400meg /month not bad for me. At least i still can play....
