For all of you that have followed my dad's journey over the last little while, here is an update. Today Dad celebrated his 90th Birthday. We are so blessed to have him make this milestone. Over the last 2 years he has really been through a lot of health issues. Many times we thought we were going to loose him. He is a real fighter. He is stable and after congestive heart failure and receiving a pace maker/defibrillator, Kidney failure/Dialysis, breaking his hip and breaking it again. All my siblings are here to celebrate. He was moved to tears and while trying to express how much he loves us all. I won't admit that most of us had tears as well. When you are raised by a such a GREAT man it is impossible not to be emotional. Many of his grandchildren and several of his Great Grandchildren were here to shower him with hugs and kisses. The Love of Family gives him the strength to continue his journey. We had some great Lebanese meals over the last 3 days! It is with great pride I call him Dad. If you love someone tell them before it is too late. Wayne

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. He just keeps on fighting a good fight. The nurses in dialysis are always telling him he’s too young looking to be 90 lol, they keep tormenting and teasing him, he loves the attention. He had a new fancy shirt on the other day and one of those fiery nurses told he looked like a PIMP, he laughed his head off. He told everyone at the party.

This is fantastic Wayne! My father celebrates his 91st on the 18th! I have not seen him in three years, thanks to COVID. Headed down to see him in TX and my father-in-law in New Orleans around Labor day. Dave (a.k.a Smeg)

Congrats pops. He looks absolutely amazing for a 90 year old. My grandpaw was 82 and looked really rough. He was in 2 wars and worked for the railroad for 30 some years before retiring. Cancer caused by many years of close contact with Asbestos insulated pipes and ducts is what we think made him sick. By the time he started feeling sick enough to see a doctor, it was to late to do anything about. He was like me. Never complained about being sick and refused to see a doctor unless it hindered his ability to do what he loved to do.

Does anyone known someone that could compile a graph to show how much prettier Lucy is compared to Rob? I reckon it would make interesting reading

Just wondering what kind of tools you guys run.. I myself have switched brands three times… I don’t think I need to switch again … Milwaukee packout system is so awesome!! I’m able to carry tons of tools at once and they are strong enough to take tons of abuse in my trade

and when you get your new car the battery . will be more then the car when it takes a shit in 2 years . but that's what they want ..the new tools and new cars that run on battery's are just like what they want more money less life ..

Been using dewalt cordless tools since they came out probably close to 30 years ago. The new breed of tools Batteries suck. The lifespan is nowhere near what the old 18v systems were.
