My grandma flew to Ohio from Oregon to be with us for Christmas this year. She flew in Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning we had received a call informing us that my grandpa had passed. My grandma wanted to be there with him when his time came and we all thought she would be. We believe that he knew she was with family, where she needed to be so that he could let go. He had Alzheimer's and it had progressed pretty quickly this last year. My dad, brother, and I were able to fly out last year when he still knew who we were. We were fortunate enough to be able create new memories with him and reminisce on the old ones and enjoy what time we had left with him before saying our goodbyes, knowing that would probably be that last time we would see him, and now he's gone. However, we do believe we will see him again one day and we are grateful he is no longer in any pain or discomfort. He lived a full and happy life and i will forever cherish my memories of him. He's the one that had inspired my interest in photography and I wanted to share one of the last pictures he had taken.

Hi all, on the 23rd Dec my lovely big sister was taken from us. she battled hard but it was a fight she couldnt win but she put up a fight to be proud of. 60 was no age but that cancer does not discriminate. she will be in my heart forever a few pics of her and me back in the day

So, our cats got a catnip toy for Christmas from Grandma. He loves it... Short time later... I look over and there he is, face down in a stocking sound asleep. LMAO

FYI, My mom had a large right side stroke a week before this Christmas Day 2022. My dad was there and noted some issues quickly and called 911, this likely saved her life. While he was on the phone with emergency services the local EMS that happened to be around the corner at the time rolled in while he was on the phone. She was expressed to the local hospital. They administered the needed clot buster medicine and she is alive and well today. Working on the remaining issues as you might imagine nothing is perfect. Hope you all appreciate your loved ones as much as I do now. Appreciate all the help from everyone so far. -YACC

Wishing you the best Christmas from me and my family!! This is a very hard time of year for a lot of ppl. My condolences to all that have lost a family member,,its very hard especially at christmas. Please think of everyone this year. We have had a hard couple of years but there is always someone that is worse off then you and please keep these ppl in mind! Love you all!

Sadly my wife has passed at 48 yrs old we wasnt expecting this it was a sudden death we have been together since I was 16 years old married at 17 we had our ups and downs like every couple does but we stuck together i still don't know yet what the cause is as they have to do an autopsy I'm not in a good place at the min but fighting it day by day not been eating much and turned to drinking alot just glad I got my family around me just wanted to let u all know as xi is part of my family had a really nice chat with @FunStick thank you brother that did help to take my mind of things for a while

My mother, age 90, born October 25, 1931, passed away this morning. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to talk to her last night and tell her we loved her. She will be missed very much. Please keep her in your prayers..... Merry Christmas, make sure you let your family know how much they are loved.

All seasons greetings are a bit late from myself today. We lost power last dec 23rd 700hrs due to big snow and freezing rain snow storm. Thx to my generator to keep house a bit mild since it was -16 C outside , so after 56 hours im back on wwb to wish everyone a great christmas day with the ones you love. for me Xmas not that great this year my mother is fighting lung cancer and one of my younger brother is actually in hospital with pancreatis issues ( and he doesnt drink alcohol at all) still under investigation hes on morphine lot of pain . So for a end a still wish everyone a good holiday with everyone you love and say them you care dont wait their death.. Mark
