Who woulda thought that like 20 years ago near I would hop into a server and stick around this long? It has been an amazing time with you all, but like all things, some things find a finish. I am going to be stepping away from gaming for a while, maybe forever, who knows. I just feel the push and pull of other aspects of life knocking. I will always cherish my time here as an XI member. Have made some life long friendships that will continue no matter where in life I end up. Hi DJ i banned you for advertising websites in the server www.powergaming.com i had asked a number of times to stop as well as other admins on different occasions. On the day of the BAN after first kicking you, you came back into the server and started doing it again.

Sometimes I wonder where the time is gone. Skye is now 9 moth old and nearly as big as Millie. What a joy these dogs are.

I've been working at it. Found the hard limits pretty fast. I had to rebuild using much larger pieces. I think I could add 2 maybe 3 buildings in a realistic map.

Hey there jones. I do have a couple of bolts only mods from previous setups, interest is usually short lived but hey, why not. I have a server set now: IP 149.56.146.79 This is strictly bolts only, no hand guns, nades, or any other killing type perks. What you get: - selection of the 4 bolt rifles (no scopes) - option of bayonet attachment - selection of 2 perks (loadout will show handgun and nade but they don't work, there by default) Oh, and there's throwing knives too. The rifles are set high, 1 shot kills. Maps running are just the stock maps for now. Cheers

found this maz sounds alot like your issue, and not too bad to fix If you are having trouble loading Call of Duty: World at War (CoD 5) games via LAN and are forced to use manual IP addresses, it is likely due to the game's inability to automatically broadcast or discover servers on your network, or because of conflicting network adapters . Here are the tested fixes for this issue: 1. Fix LAN Discovery (Set Net Port) Often, the game fails to establish a proper LAN handshake, requiring you to force the port. Open the console in the game using the ~ key (tilde). Type: /set net_port 28961 and press Enter. Type it again to verify the output shows: net_port 28960 -> latched value 28961. Have all players do this, then try to see the lobby. 2. Disable Virtual/VPN Network Adapters If you have VirtualBox, VMware, Hamachi, or a VPN installed, CoD 5 may be trying to use those network connections instead of your actual LAN/Ethernet connection. Go to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings. Disable all adapters except the one you are currently using (e.g., disable Wi-Fi if using Ethernet, disable VirtualBox Host-Only Network). 3. I have really noticed a problem with BF6. When I get my ass handed to me in BF6, it is always by a console player. For those that do not play BF6, when you get killed, you see info on who killed you, the weapon they used and what platform they play on. It is very obvious that console players have an advantage through aim assist. I know that it is harder to aim with a controller than a mouse and keyboard, but the scales have been tipped too far in the consoles favor. It is very common that I will shoot at an enemy from 50+ yards away, most shots missing, giving away my position, and then they turn and every bullet from there gun that should not be that accurate from that distance. Furthermore, in a close combat situation, it is like playing COD. People jumping, turning in midair and landing every shot before their feet hit the ground. In Cross Play, BF6 is not what Battlefield is supposed to be. PC players cannot turn off Cross Play but console players can. Below is a good video of what I speak of.

Played today. Found out that dead bodies hang around too long. People tend to lay down inside of them.

Yes it is. Intentionally. Everyone loves that map. As I said to Pengy, someone came in the server awhile back asking if they had missed Bog and I told them we had JUST finished playing it. They were sad they missed it and I get it - it sucks when you miss one of your favourite maps and have to wait and try to catch it the next day, ya know? There have been rotations that have one of my favourite maps and I'll go the entire week somehow missing it, like Neo dodging bullets in the Matrix. So it's in there twice, evenly split by 11-12 maps. Hopefully, we all get to play it a few times this week.

The rule is the same as its been for the past 20 years here at >XI<. If you haven't been banned for how you jump in game then you're doing nothing wrong. If we see an issue we will let you know.

It gives you an unfair speed advantage, makes you jump alot further and makes you much harder to hit. Pretty sure that's considered Unsportsmanlike Conduct by it's very definition. We are more like a Gaming Community and not a Competitive Gaming clan. Rapid Fire binds and Pro Mod Configs and Jump Mod binds all give an unfair advantage to everyone else playing on the servers. And crap like that tends to piss people off and empties the servers. Just play the damned game. If ya can't play without some sort bullshit cheat or modded config or fancy binds to get an advantage maybe you should find another server or game to play.
