Can we get a working car jammer this is getn ridiculous...im using jammer getn more deaths by car than i was without using it wtf....and b4 anyone mentions bout the timer...its not timer issue....ppl just turns into car and 2 secs later they driving it rt up to me and blowing it up killing me...not even backing it off half the time...i mean if we goin to have a car jammer lets have one that actually works i mean the point of using jammer was so i didnt have to take car death unless timer runs out...this is very frustrating and is ruining the fun for us...just asking?

Just for clarification, the damage done is exactly the same as if someone threw a C4 pack at you.

The jammer is working fine. 

 

When u stand close by with a car to someone its not exploding. it gives u a jammer sign.
But as soon u drive 2CM away from the person, and u quickly keep pressing the button it will do explode 

on someone. 

 

So the jammer is working perfectly, but it is the distance arround the player who has the jammer on needs to be expanded so the car cant explode anymore 

close by to the player.

The test server I set it to its max of 512 units. That is twice as far as the normal 256 unit radius of the explosion itself. If you are within that 256 you will get some damage, the amount based on distance to the center. 257 and farther, no damage. Also as soon as you are jammed there is a 3 second delay before the fire button will work assuming you are no longer being jammed. The icon fade out is 3 seconds so if you see it you are jammed.

 

Of course nothing will stop the car from exploding next to you if its timer runs out. Cant have it all.

Its defo not working like that. I can make it explode even less than a inch infront of a person without any problems. 

i can even kill the person without seeing the jammer sign popping up, even when he has a jammer on.

The other server, that had the blue smoke, had the jammer turned off from what I understand. It is enabled on this server.

It seems like if someone with a jammer is standing next to someone without then the car can still blow up right beside you.  I know what Cobra is saying, but usually when I die in that manner it is because someone without jammer is beside me.

Jammer will be fixed in the next release of the mod which I hope to have on the server by this weekend

I don't like the the mini nuke now. I dropped one in spawn tonight and had 0 kills. If we got rid of the big nukes then lets up kills of the mini nukes please.

Ok nice new mod the CI's between each round are frustrating the overall play is good but seems a little slower than the last mod.  ie defrosting, running. snatch and grab no longer allows you to reroll the care packages why have that perk then?

For ftag it allows defrost at double the rate. But looking into other possibilities to add that might make it more useful. Suggestions are welcome. Reroll was moved to Hardline since its a killstreak related function. S&G is meant for objectives.

 

The mininuke is the same as the last one but maybe the server config values need tweaking. Perhaps for others as well.

The mini - nuke is definitely weaker. I am hearing a lot of comments about it from our regular players.

I had the jammer on, but i still got blown up by a car, because the time runs out. Is it not possible to just let the persons that have that perk to survive the car, even when the time runs out?

One thing I have noticed is that if you get a care package and are not able to retrieve it before the round ends your score drops to 0.  You keep your kills, defrosts and deaths but your score is gone.  This is the only thing that I have seen.

0? Thats a bizarre one. I will test.

 

edit: For the perk... nothing is perfect. There should be at least a small chance of defeating a jammer. However if this was a pro RC, from the attack package, they are immune to jamming.

that is really weird, because I'm experiencing the opposite, hard to hear people talking
