It's one of my favourite places, it's so beautiful up there, the air is so clear and you just come back feeling so relaxed. Also Chris bought some local ciders because of course he did TBB, J3st3r, Possimos and 9 others 12

Or, or Highlander. Just so dazzlingly beautiful with vast expanse of Green & Blue... gives me cognitive elbow room. I like to go into the middle of nowhere & just be still... which leads to forgetting oneself... not necessarily to leave any bad, but to go to where that headspace does... simple, quiet bliss. Nice pictures. Awards

Dude, I have college degrees. My favorite courses were actually electives like Western Civilization & the Humanities. Code of Hammurabi, Roman Empire, Egypt, Pax Romana, Domesday Book, Iraq area with city states ... Fertile Crescent... First to have uniform school curricula, irrigation. the Sumerians, Cuneiform, Epic of Gilgemash, Ottoman Empire. Popes & Anti Popes. Medieval times, Black Plague, Renaissance...Hanseatic League...& of course, Ancient Greece, Athens, their Patron Virgin Goddess & namesake... Themistocles & his diplomacy to have a naval fleet built, buying time alongside Leonidas for Athenians to flee. Arguably saving Greece & Western Civilization by expertly winning at Salamis. So much rich history... to include much more... and a Folly here & there. RobMc and GhostfaceJim 2 Awards

You get to pick between the rolling, sedimentary Cotswolds or the sharp, igneous Malverns. The views are equally spectacular. 5 hours ago, RobMc said: Wow didn't think anyone over your side would know about these?, there are many many of these dotted around the country, villages, castles, monuments and structures that originally served no purpose but to please their owners.
