Likely the mb is missing the newer security features. Admittedly a majority of the stuff on my system is on the older side. But at the moment I dont really have a need to shell out the bucks for a new system. Not worth it anyways unless I could get a new gpu to go with it. I bought a PC with Win11 installed and the first thing I did, was installing Win10. The next two or three years, there will be noch need to cahnge the system software. until then, it will change a couple of times, updates and upgrades are available, and then it might be stable and all those discussions about requirements and TPM (in my case a dongle would cost about 12 $), will be for nothing. A bit of both, visually and under the hood. It feels a little to Apple OS visually and I have heard a lot of rumours about Windows 11 that don't sit right with me. Such as the eventual phasing out of the control panel and something about them having ads in their own operating system. Of course, these are just rumours and I will readily admit that I have not actually done the research so I am basing my opinion on what I have seen posted on social media websites. What would be wrong with Windows 10? The only thing I don't like about it is the start menu and the settings app, much prefer the control panel and something akin to windows XP or 7 for the start menu; but I know it is down to personal preference. I won't be upgrading right away, I don't think. I want to see how it rolls out and what they do with it and then make my choice.
 Awards

The beta Win 11 didn't like COD4 but that could have been just a driver problem. Was dropping frames like I had a 500 ping back in the day of dial up.
