I am sure this has been discussed ad nauseum, but I am too damn lazy (and tired) to search for it.

With Windows 10 support going away next month, are there any issues with me upgrading this damn computer to Windows 11 with regard to playing COD4

Because if I upgrade and it screws up I am going to be PISSED and have to take it out on @Ruggerxi  😎🤣

question  does your current system have TPM (Trusted Platforum Modual) ?  if not would need to update the hardware that has TPM.

if were me I would get a new bigger storage and clone the win 10 drive to it on old system, before remove new storage collect the new drivers for the new motherboard on the win 10 system then start computer in safemode with network (for register OS and get new firmware if needed for new hardware) for to load the drivers on new hardware then have your win 11 upgrade key (purchase it when buy new hardware)

register your OS  and keep record (write it down) and BitLocker key (your encriptted data key of storage).

Or just buy a new ready to go win 11 system and copy the old storage to new system ( write the BitLocker software key down

what are your current system spec's ? weigh out pro/cons on total new hardware or patch up current system with new motherboard
