Rufus is the easiest way but you'll need a 16gb usb thumb drive or larger. Here check it out. It will download the installation media from Microsoft and allow you to turn certain checks off like TPM checks and CPU checks and memory checks. Using that you can literally install windows 11 on an old windows XP PC if you want. Make sure you follow the tutorial carefully. https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/bypass-windows-11-tpm-requirement Oh it will 100% fuck up everything that is installed so you might as well just tell it to do a fresh install and delete everything after you back everything up. Maybe go buy another HDD and install win 11 on that and just unplug the win 10 hdd until your done. Then you can safely transfer everything over or just run everything from the Win 10 HDD. It is essential for the following reasons: Secure Storage: TPM 2.0 securely stores cryptographic keys, passwords, and digital certificates, protecting sensitive information from unauthorized access. Biometric Authentication: It supports Windows Hello for Business, which securely manages and stores biometric data for secure logins. Malware Defense: TPM 2.0 is integral to BitLocker, which encrypts hard drives and partitions, ensuring that only legitimate systems can access them. Secure Boot: It verifies the integrity of the boot process, preventing unauthorized software from loading during startup. Data Execution Prevention (DEP): DEP ensures that malware or unauthorized applications cannot run in the computer's memory, adding an extra layer of protection. TPM 2.0 is a key component in the security architecture of Windows 11, providing a robust foundation for protecting user data and system integrity. Microsoft TPM 2.0 – a necessity for a secure and future-proof Windows 11 with Bit Locker the digital key to your data to stop malware rest can use win10 without TPM but no banking with it is fine for gaming you looking at tower or laptop has come along way in gaming hardware.
