Ok I’ve deleted the game mods and it’s now downloading the ace mod , very slow though. Hopefully that will fix it.

Did it happen between maps too ? If it ever happens that your game crashes on map change, know that sometimes it also happens when you're talking on TS or in the game or you're checking the score board with some key in the game just when the map changes. Like if you're pressing a key on map change... lol

I've reinstalled the game and all the patches game still crashes out to desktop when I load a map that isn't an original one. Then I have to sign out as I have no control of the desktop. I have the latest GFX driver and I'm running the game in compatibility mode. Any help much appreciated.

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to PC gaming, and came here under recommendation of my daughter @ShinyAbsol. I normally play Nintendo games but play other consoles. Some of my favourite games are Halo, Gears of War, Pokemon (I play this with Shiny a lot). My hobbies include reading, cross-stitch, crochet and of course, playing video games. I'm looking forward to joining the ARK community here, and possibly exploring the other games you all play here. Anyone who knows Shiny and her sense of humour should know that I'm far worse than her, she gets it from me!

Tis our COD5 life. It's a quirk while running mods and custom maps which there is no fix, at least none I'm aware of. As @AthenA noted, just best to not touch any keys or click anything in between map changes. I have all the maps and still does it to me occasionally.

In the game options make sure you have it to Allow Downloads is yes. I don't recall if this is yes by default.

I was on ts talking, and pressed a key in game, plus map was changing at same time. In the 19 years I have been playing games I have never seen such an issue before.

Duke is still dying really easy from headshots, had two die pretty much instantly today. Also they should be able to jump a little to get over small curbs as they get stuck at certain points in the map. Thanks.

@LOCO It was a rare occurrence but that happened on the old mod as well. Something to do with the boxes.
