Richard, (my husband), never really talked a lot about his time in Viet Nam, other than he had been shot by a sniper. However, he had a rather grainy, 8 x 10 black and white photo he had taken at a USO show of Ann Margret with Bob Hope in the background that was one of his treasures. A few years ago, Ann Margaret was doing a book signing at a local bookstore. Richard wanted to see if he could get her to Sign the treasured photo so he arrived at the bookstore at 12 o'clock for the 7:30 signing. When I got there after work, the line went all the way around the bookstore, circled the parking lot, and disappeared behind a parking garage. Before her appearance, bookstore employees announced that she would sign only her book and no memorabilia would be permitted. Richard was disappointed, but wanted to show her the photo and let her know how much those shows meant to lonely GI's so far from home.. Ann Margaret came out looking as beautiful as ever and, as second in line, it was soon Richard's turn. He presented the book for her signature and then took out the photo. When he did, there were many shouts from the employees that she would not sign it. Richard said, "I understand. I just wanted her to see it." She took one look at the photo, tears welled up in her eyes and she said, "This is one of my gentlemen from Viet Nam and I most certainly will sign his photo. I know what these men did for their country and I always have time for 'my gentlemen.'' With that, she pulled Richard across the table and planted a big kiss on him. She then made quite a to-do about the bravery of the young men she met over the years, how much she admired them, and how much she appreciated them. There weren't too many dry eyes among those close enough to hear. She then posed for pictures and acted as if he were the only one there. That night was a turning point for him. He walked a little straighter and, for the first time in years, was proud to have been a Vet. I'll never forget Ann Margaret for her graciousness and how much that small act of kindness meant to my husband. Later at dinner, Richard was very quiet. When I asked if he'd like to talk about it, my big, strong husband broke down in tears.. ''That's the first time anyone ever thanked me for my time in the Army,'' he said. I now make it a point to say 'Thank you' to every person I come across who served in our Armed Forces. Freedom does not come cheap and I am grateful for all those who have served their country.

That's because all the rules @RobMc talks about were put in place to keep him away from normal people - they don't apply to anyone else

Sunday September 27 at 2 pm EST Try to control all 3 flags with help of your team and spray they with painT!!!!!!! If you have not played either mod before this is a blast. Team work is needed to control the flags!

I did have a brief problem with getting more ammo but outside of that everything is good...Finishing up this contract (800 miles away) and will be heading back south (Red State) with 3 of my Grandchildren who will be coming to covid vacation at my house...Got to see my Great Granddaughter and my new Grandson who was just born...Still no exposure to speak of in the current medical facility here in Denton Maryland...

The lockdown worked so well the first time, we need to do it again! Masks are also extremely effective, we need to mandate them outside as well! Next up, helmets! Most people I try and debate this with in real life are just virtue signalling as usual and don't actually know very many facts apart from their daily propaganda from the bbc, they all knowingly or unknowingly break the "rules" in some fashion as is convenient for them and as long as it is socially acceptable (convenient for the rest of the mob). I asked some people a while back what percentage of the population they thought has died from corona and was given estimations around 3-4% which is around 2-2.5 million (UK). Clueless. What a different world you are living in over there Rob, our restaurants and bars are open and we’re going about our lives. Sounds like fun but sadly I can’t commit to anything! I have these 2 little granddaughters that as soon as they enter the door and start calling Papa? Papa? Where are you Papa? My heart melts and I leave my in game family for my little angels, it’s just the way it’s got to be! Someday they will stop calling for Papa and instead think some biker JERK named Snake is way cooler! Oh yea I have something for Snake in my cabinet if Snake acts up, just saying? What Shiny says is right, you can't have a family Christmas dinner legally, unless you all go to the pub - that's legal, but when in the pub you must only 'socialise' with your own bubble ?? see how that goes with Aunty Marge after 3 gins ? The real sad fact is that there are hardly any pubs left now, but you get served really quickly if you cough, get your meals free by asking for the mustard then telling the waiter you can't smell it or taste it, can't get you out the door quick enough.

You will be fine. The first part of what it askes is making you backup your registry File -> Export -> "backup.reg"

Because I start my day @ 8 in the a.m. with a modest workout routine for the first half an hour, then I proceed to deliver everyone else their food for the next 12 - 15 hours... until I hit my $300 daily target. During that time, I only stay hydrated with Body Armors, a Gatorade here & there & water. Maybe a snack for lunch like a Bolthouse Farm Green or Blue Goodness. Even though I eat a sizeable meal at the end of the day, I'm up in 6-7 hours to do it all again.

I'm along the lines calling it a mod might be misleading. But a series of maps like puzzles so to speak. You have to fight the enemy and whatever we can get the game to throw at us. Dogs zombies traps donkey doo doo bombs. To get to the next level via portals. The next level would be a different type of map from say a boat to a desert next level a swamp to hell and the last level heaven. More along the lines of several maps in 1 skybox. A plus side to this is we have enough maps that we could grab a small section of a map make it work for the purpose needed. Could reduce the map creation time a lot . Its the map effects that bother me. We could use the zombies so somebody needs to figure out how to get zombies into a standard TDM game. Next is what class of Call of Duty 2 ? 4 ? 5? what would work best ? We could make it simple and create death zones more along the lines of tomb raider but I like the enemy attacking idea. All I got time for now . I wonder if we could get lightning to kill ?? Is it possible to walk into a zone that freezes you like FT and could we thaw our team mate. These are the questions we need to answer before we make the maps . Just my opion
