I won't call out any names here for the good sportsmanship!. If you've been playing in xi servers for a while then you know the rules. If almost all opponents are yelling, typing about that spot is marked glitch then my friends please respect the time you have spent in xi servers and dont fucking glitch. Respect yourself and please play within the xi rules. BB4 points -

Agreed, to make it worse the ones that start it rarely suffer, and often profit, just to rub salt into the wound, dying for your country is a mugs game, and I mean that not to the detriment of those incredibly brave people that fight, but the jackals that live and prosper from your bravery, they aren't worth it. If we consider this war 'The war to end wars' which was carnage on all sides, nothing was learnt was it?, the next war that followed even less was learnt. Sadly there will be another war, history has not stopped, God help us all. MajBasil bless her was spot on, men are the root cause of most trouble, but sadly they will not change.2 points

Interesting story. Also, @Sharpe, you do know that 90+% of the internet resides on what is known as the dark web? Easy to find as downloading Tor & having a look around. LOTS of dark shit out there. Some really cool, novel things here & there, too. Same pedestrian fare, also.2 points

I love late 70's and early 80's rock. Been to several shows, But the best I ever seen was Heart, in 2019 (I think) They were absolutely amazing! I drove about 4 hours to see them, and I would do it again 1000 times.2 points -
What is one of your favorite 80s song? Here is mine. I got inspired by @Demonio when he was playing his guitar the other night in zoom Thanks brother1 point

My Musical Past - KISS Style!
major-mark63 reacted to Muffinhandz for a topic
Hi All: In game, my handle is Muffinhandz. In real life, my name is Tony, I live in the Milwaukee area and have been a professional drummer for 43 years. One of the more "fun" bands I was in was called KISS Tribute - Dr Love. Here is a link to some fan-shot material from our "farewell show" in 2016. Encore: Beth / Detroit Rock City / Rock-n-Roll All Nite:1 point -
Recommended this be watched full screen in 4k. I would have loved to have seen it in person. n1 point

Paul's kind of a dickweed. Gene, I love and have met many times. Ego is beyond control, but as he so eloquently said, "Life it too short to have less than delusional notions of ones self."1 point -

My cousin got chewed out by Paul Stanley back stage at a Kiss concert in Columbus. This happened many years ago. Funny story behind it. But my cousins son found a life size cut out of Paul and put it in the hallway of their house, so when his dad walked in from work, it was right in his face. He put a caption on it saying "Get the Fuck Out of Here" !! Which is what Paul told him backstage !!1 point -

My Musical Past - KISS Style!

I have seen KISS 4 times over the years with my first show being at the LA Forum in 1976 as a 16 year old after the Alive album came out. Many times during my high school days we wore make-up on Halloween because back then KISS Rocked and like Ted Nugent needed to be played much louder than my parents would allow lol. I saw them last in Feb. 2019 on the 3rd show of their "End of the Road" Tour with my 37 year old son at the Tacoma Dome that has awesome sound from the wooden roof.. We had tickets straight back from the stage in the 3rd row of risers so we didn't have to stand up all night and yet he could see the entire show the way they wanted you to see it. I was glad he enjoyed the show and we had a blast and got baked out of our minds, even broke out some old school KISS T-shirts we wore to the show. I mention this because you guys do a great job of re-creating the sound and feel of a early KISS Show including the throwback make-up. While the show I attended was awesome it was very clear that they were using every trick in the book to give folks who attended the shows the sound and visuals everyone expects from them and it was also clear that they needed those backing tracks and at times they were lip-syncing. If you were to pull up a old fan video of a KISS show and close your eyes and compare the sounds you hear with those you guys produced I think folks would be hard pressed to figure out who was the original. Most people who enjoyed KISS don't know that most of those Speaker Towers in the old shows were just empty boxes and as stated before the Alive album was a creation of sounds from many sources to sell more concert tickets by making you think they could pull that off every night. But hell they sold out 2 nights at the Forum in LA in 1976 as well as many many albums. I still think it is Gene that is the intro voice saying "You wanted the best, you got the best" was Gene because no one sold KISS like Gene. In fact I just received a cease and desist letter from Gene for this post and I haven't finished typing it yet lol. You guys showed that you enjoyed giving people a chance to relive some of their youth and Hard Luck Woman has always been a old school Favorite thanks1 point -

80's Music Post
Deckard reacted to Muffinhandz for a topic
Since I graduated High School in 1984, I was literally in the heart of the 80's music craze. I saw three distinct types of music in the 80's 80's Pop (Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc) 80's Metal (Dokken, Poision, Whitesnake, etc) 80's Alternative (INXS, REM, U2, The Church, Peter Murphy) Although "Cuts You Up" by Peter Murphy was released in 1989, I still find it the quintessential 80's song.1 point -

Oh yea 1980 reminds me the end of high school and start of college years,, was mixed between rock and disco music at that time: so my ttop three song's of 1980 were : Funkytown (danced a lot on this song) Lips inc i think was the group.. Call me from Blondie Babe from Styx one of my favorite rock group. Wow nostalgia!!!1 point -
Hi. Loved some 80's songs like Jump and Panama (Van Halen), Another one Bites the Dust (Queen), Fight for Your Right (Beastie Boys), Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N’ Roses), Janie’s Got a Gun (Aerosmith) and one of my favourites: Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode). At first i didn't like them that much, but my wife took me to a concert. It was fulminant sound and a great performance.1 point

Hmm. 1980 itself saw quite a few great lp's released. I'd say Right off the bat .... AC/DC Back in Black. Mutt Lange did a great job on it. Then you had British Steel (Judas Priest), I like Bowies Scary Monsters, but it didn't get very good reviews for some reason. Sabbath reincarnated with Ronnie at the helm (Heaven and Hell). VH Women and Children First !! J. Geils (Love Stinks), Gaucho (Steely Dan), Motorhead "Ace of Spades", The Pretenders, Ozzy (Blizzard), Lenon (double fantasy), Dire Straits (Making Movies). Plus many, many more. 1980 was a good year !! It all went to shit after 1985?1 point
