An old Vietnam Veteran friend of mine gave me this Camillus knife years ago. It was rough, battered, and scared, really used. Wish I had taken a before picture, but I didn't. Was sitting at my desk w/a can of Mother's mag wheel polish nearby, and absentmindedly started polishing. Never used Mother's on hardened steel before, didn't think it had any effect, but wow! I was wrong. Lots of polish, lots of sanding w/1000 grit, and stoning an edge & honing on a butcher's steel got it to this point. It can cut a sheet of paper freehand, about as sharp as I can get anything.

I think the mini nuke should have the damage radius doubled. As it is now, it’s usually one step up above worthless.

I actually increased the distance some a couple months back and its helped, its actually killing people now instead of no one most of the time

Just a heads up ! All three (3) Cod2 servers have been getting bombarded with dos attacks over the last several days...NFO has reported that they were able to filter them out...This has been reported as the last six (6) days and may or may not effect server traffic with a higher then normal ping due to the intense filtering with attacks coming from a flood of traffic from IPs ending in 0.0... If for any reason there should be a over flow a simple restart may mitigate the problem This is just a FYI and no action currently is needed

It would appear right now that whatever the issue was with Activision has been cleared up as we have not had to restart the server lately for connection issues. With that, I've put back in our normal player based map rotation. Server will need a restart for this to take effect. COD2 is still there because of the people who still love it. COD5 with its popularity would be a tough argument. There are plenty of us that still play many flavors. I play cod2, cod4, Warzone.

OH MY GOD 10 days ago I had my second shot, nothing until I woke up at 1030 this morning, I'm normally up around 7, terrible day shivering, rigors temp of 38.7, and at the moment my blood pressure is falling (wifes a nurse). No appetite and I haven't killed one of you fckrs all day. I feel awful.

Hi all I have not been able to get on line hardly at all for about 2 months now, if I ever do my ping is all over the place, totally unable to play Sadly I have to use 4g here provided by the three network. Total crap as they have stuffed up the mask near me which supplies the signal Hence if I ever get a decent signal then fire up, it lasts a minute or 2 then goes. Unable to stream movies/tv/games any sort of downloads. They are bloody useless and as for customer services that is a total joke. At present there is no high speed fibre, only old fashion cooper Have unplugged re plugged , moved/ reset etc. Nothing Works. Hence why if I get on servers I have to leave. If three sorted out the mask then all could be fine maybe but, they do not give a (*hit) So sorry to all of you out there who miss their loving old Senzei , he has not left so his deadly skills will return ASAP. 1 Good bit of news fibre cables have been now laid around this area but told it will take several months to connect So all stop Senzei Will be back

Code is getting d dos attacks as well according to nfo. So its not the game being attacked it is NFO getting hit.

Very. Especially when the usual "not my fault I was hacked" comments come out. Assuming you are using standard security these days for battlenet its unlikely you are going to get hacked unless you're careless.

That explains how bad the server for a few weekends ago, peoples pings were hitting way into the 300's, if not more. I'll let you know if anything like it happens again. Last time it happened I did a server restart; it helped a tiny bit but it came back.
