I wasn't going to talk about this because well I generally only keep things to myself. But due to some unforseen circumstances I was facing living out of my vehicle. So I had to give my 1 year old German Shepherd away. I balled liked a baby of course but the people who took him were amazing. And they said that if I ever get a place again to come get him. So these past couple of weeks have been crazy busy but I have been blessed with a beautiful place to live and my baby back. I was super happy and just wanted to share with my XI family.

It's a good time to take a week or so off with the weather being so comfortably agreeable. Low humidity, lower insect & pollen problem for the most part & more-comfortable temperatures. Plus, the fish are fattening up for the coming season. Halcyon, ephemeral weather; where everything is winding down. Ineffable on so many levels. The days seem suspended outside of time & are a wonderful refuge to which one must return to reconnect in restful quietude to that of which we are all a part. Something like that. Good eats, too.
