note over modulation kills electonics: with monitors like a the ole stereo system when crank the dial past 11:30 - 12:00 the sound starts to distort for over driven same with monitors brightness/contrast try to manual ajdust for auto is over driving and shorten life of screen by adjust the lowest brightness/contrast to your liking and will notice the picture will be sharper in the text on screen for the noise/ditortion is less (over modulated) like the stereo. no fuzzy text like on auto, crystal clear
