Those of us working hard on the MW2 mod know more than the typical player what makes for a good weapon and more important when its a bad one for the role is it supposed to serve. So if the G3 is rebalanced to act as a full auto weapon... which is much more than a simple firing mode switch... then it becomes an M4, Scar-h or ACR. So one of those would have to be made to work as a single shot G3. A pointless exercise. It takes a good amount of gameplay in an open environment to have a true measure of a weapon to be fair but for example when the M16 was taken out and not replaced with a comparible weapon it was not a good thing. Lets try to take the G3 out for a week and see what happens :spiteful: Taking the gun out sounds like a great idea but then what gun next lol....even if i cant use a g3 I will still learn to play with another gun and then when people die by that gun what will we do then :) But if it is going to make everyone happy take the g3 out does not matter I still have a lot of fun playing on this server and thats what matters to me..... People would complain that someone is using the scroll wheel to fire the G3. Maybe they have a mouse that can set a button to turbo fire. Like the options on the old http://en.wikipedia....Super_Advantage controller for the SNES . Would this be considered wrong if they did? Either way I don't believe it is much of an advantage anyway. When I switched to the G3 it made me slow my rate of fire down and made me a more precise shooter. I don't believe anyone will dominate using an some kind of auto G3. It won't help you aim and may make it more difficult. The people who can aim with Accuracy AND Precision will win out. There will always be people trying to take advantage of 'game mechanics'. Similar to the people who turn their graphics down so much they don't see things they should (like bushes). If there is a style of player that irks you then learn how they operate and specialize in taking them out! Who the fuck is Toothle$$???
