After looking into details about this, it seems to be my fault. I take full responsibility for this (unless can claim it for actions I'm unaware of!!!). At about 6pm yesterday GMT, I wanted to add some additional calendar features. Examples would be a block on the homepage to show today's calendar events, which could show (say) the deadlines for the Fantasy Sports, to name but a few. Unfortunately the calendar app (a core product wasn't working correctly. As a result I uninstalled and reinstalled it (something I've done on third party apps many times). However after (what looked like a successful install), it seems to have messed up some other core apps, the forums, etc. As a result I had no option but to restore, otherwise by the time I figured it out, we could be another week down the road. I will be discussing with the Seniors and WebMaster the importance of creating change controls and incremental backups within the webmaster forum, which will require a majority vote, prior to implementing. This will minimise this and other issues that have occured in the past. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.
