Yes we did, if this version of the mod is bug free it will be the new mod for that server.

4 seconds of spawntime.....6 was already kinda low. 4 or 0 is th same thing for me. :D

I lowered the protection because you run faster in this mod, so you can get pretty close to the same distance away from spawn.

I lowered the protection because you run faster in this mod, so you can get pretty close to the same distance away from spawn.

I did notice the faster running, as peeps were asking me what perk i had on last night to be running so fast... lol i checked but did not have any running perk on ... so this clears that up for me. :thumbsup:

Running faster? The only thing that should do that is the juiced death streak for about 20 seconds. Otherwise it should be normal and based on your current class, as usual.

Just a heads up that there might be a bug with the sentrygun if you place it after using a streak like the reaper. What is happening is that instead of it being placed at your feet its being placed at the spot where you activated the streak. It is actually at the location of an invisible player clone that stays there while you fly around, which was added because of what happens when activating the RC in an elevator and things like that. So will be working on that today.

 

The reason for the new bug is due to a 'fix' related to people trying to place the sentrygun while in the ac130. Still, the sentrygun shouldnt have done that. :hrhr:

I upped the speed on the server just a little bit, so far people are liking it. So for now the speed will remain where it is now

I think the spawn protection is just about right. With a free run you can get very close to where you could on the old mod. I like the speed - the faster the better IMHO. :)

well this mod does have us running faster

 

Well technically speaking the mod is not faster for the normal settings. But one of the options in it allows for greater speeds if the server so chooses. For testing I sometimes set it to double sprint speed because I hate having to wait to run from spawn to go shoot at enemies. Bwahahaha. ;)

Check your classes. Tested it without any friendly fire settings and it works ok here. Unless when this happened you were in an RC or something?

i've said it before and will do it again.

 

Why the hell did you remove a great mod? ok i get it, it's a challenge to build a better mod, but this one aint better. maybe the same but defenitly not better. This mod was for several weeks on the chicago server, testing and testing and more... but the guys that played it barely came back to that server because they simply liked the old one more.

 

If people liked that mod they would go and play it even if it's on a differend server, but that wasn't so. Maybe there was a reason for it?

 

What is going to happen to the chicago server? just nothing like always? maybe the other mod that you removed can be put on there?

 

i don't like changes when i'm just getting use to one, i never heared anyone complaining about starting to get bored of the old version....so why the change?

ok but whats the perk for car jammer....cause in game hint says its hard wired but yet ive been killd by car multiple times...i know it works as i had car it wouldnt let me blow certain people cause they were using jammer

other mod is full of bugs and error and has been crashin on regular basis...so it has to be restarted multple times a day..its a bit of annoying so then we have to play same maps over and over again and not go thru full rotation
