did you ever visit event viewer to see what problem your computer records when it has a problem?

Event Viewer is a tool that displays detailed information about significant events (for example, programs that don't start as expected or updates that are downloaded automatically) on your computer. Event Viewer can be helpful when troubleshooting problems and errors with Windows and other programs. For more information about Event Viewer, see What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?

Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer.‌ Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

I still think it is your Power Supply Unit(PSU) that is lacking right now. Not sure if you have where you live the right to send it back, if that didn't do the trick?

If your screen goes out, you should see a error message on your screen saying "lost input signal", if you don't see that next time just reboot your monitor.

When you reboot your computer (after the screen blanks out), it should recognize that the system crashed and gives you the choice of safe mode or normal...

If it doesn't...it's your monitor. If it does you have other issues...GPU most likely...

I agree with X-ray, I say it's the power supply. Power supplies will degrade over time and lose some of their rated power output. If the psu was boarder line to begin with it could be a problem now that it is older.

X-ray - You are probably hitting the nail on the head. If the card doesn't work then I will go aheadand buy a power supply. They aaren't that spendy. So I'll have both new I guess lol. I'm definitely keeping that in mind.

Angry - Not getting any errors like that.

Damage - you applying? :D

If your not getting any recovery errors or "lost input connection" then it's your monitor.
