I just bought Logitech G935 Wireless a few weeks ago. So far I'm really liking them. Pretty comfortable, great sound, the battery last quite a while. I got them as an upgrade from the Logitech G430 model when one of my kids sat on them.. ? The G430 model wasn't to bad either.. as long as you don't mind the ridiculously long cord.

Old ones.. G430

I second Turtle Beach. Great sound both for games and music. Comfortable even after prolonged use. However, the vinyl coverings for the headband and other places are worse than paper thin and even if careful with them it eventually just peels off in shreds. Eventually I suppose get some kind of sticky sheet and cut to shape.

OK Merlin,

I just had a set fail too. I have for the last 18 years been using a true 5.1 headset (Not simulated surround). These headphones have 3 speakers per ear cup. They are now USB and come with a small disc with drivers to complete the set-up.

The sets usually last about 4 to 5 years. (Last set made it 4 years, 10 months and 29 days). They cost 45.00 USD. The company (LTB - Listen to Believe) went out of business a few years back and this company (Hamilton Buhl) either bought all the backstock or are continuing to manufacture the headsets. They are all black with an integrated mic. They are light and isolate outside noise quite well.

I just purchased a set for 45.00 and paid 22.00 for shipping UPS. They are worth every penny, but for 45.00 and last 4 to 5 years.... What more could you ask for. The last set was MG97 (Had USB power and 4 - 3.5mm headphone jacks). New set is USB only, although the cord is about 1.2 to 1.3 meters long.

I am going to buy another set as a back up for when these die in 4-5 years. I would be lost without them.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Thanks weed, I'll check them out.

I made a mistake these are wireless, the base is usb connected there is also a usb cable to charge the headset and a 305mm cable to plug into other devices . I find the batteries/charge last for several days with my use. At the time I purchased these the 2019 version was the most up to date. Not sure if there is a newer updated version for this model.

Couple months ago I got the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition headset.

I'm no good with the technical stuff really but audio and mic are pretty good, and they're cute as hell with pretty lights.
If you don''t like pink they also come in black, and there's a standard Kraken model if cat ears are too much cuteness for you.

Could u post a pic of you with the headset on your head? Just to see if it could fit on mine...

The first thing I did when I got them was take a load of photos so yes I can.
They're completely adjustable in the same way as any other headset.

I am in the same boat.

I have the Astro A50's but I have been looking at the Logitech G Pro X headset (better mic than the A50's). No problems with the A50's with the sound and hearing where people are at just people hearing me with call outs. The only draw back is the cost of the A50's. The G Pro X are at a decent price of $130.00 vs the A50's at $299.99. I do like them being wireless with all the volume controls on the right ear of the headset. Battery life is about 18 hrs. I will have to see what other people are also recommending.

I have this one as well.  I like the wireless because it's more convenient.

You are not bothered by the wire when playing and you can also go to the fridge to take a beer :beerbig: :drinks: without having to take it off (and still listening in game or on TS) ;)

https://www.astrogaming.com/en-ca/products/headsets/a50-gen-4.html

Of course, it is not the cheapest one... ?

Best headset I’ve had so far, it’s amazing.

I've had my Steelseries Siberia for about 10 years now. It still looks brand new and the separate mic and speaker jack have never failed me. I have never had to pull the mic out as everyone keeps telling me to turn the volume down lol

Not big on wireless.  How often do you end up chargeing yours from regular use?  Is sound just as good with wireless over wired?

I put my Astro A50 on the base station back each time I stop using my PC or do not need the headset and I never had any pb with charging.

The only downside are the connectors for charging. It's sometimes a little bit tricky to correctly plug the headset on the base station to have it charging. But maybe it's only an issue with mine.

Do you have the same problem @Bobby Light?

They are very good looking on your head even matching with your lipstick. I am not sure the effect would be the same on mine and with my color of lipstick...

I do the same thing. If I am not using the headset it is on the base station. I have the same problem with the connectors. You have to have the headset perfectly on the base station or else it will not charge. Super annoying.
