I have changed the member and admin menu items so they contain some more useful links. There is now a xi member list and also a registered user list. I have added a set of support forums and forms pointing to them I have changed the Discord block on the home page to be the traditional one I have changed the 'members online in past 24 hours' block on the home page to 'members online now' I have added the XI support image back to the home page linking to the appeal and support forms

So after trying to play newer games on my old gaming laptop (2014 MSI GT70, gtx770m), and finding them borderline unplayable (20fps mid settings) I decided to go all out and build my first desktop gaming pc. luckily I have a buddy from college who lives nearby and has previous experience with stuff. He built a tentative list of parts for me in my budget and I altered a few things here and there. Everything has arrived safely via FedEx and I'm just waiting till Thursday for my buddy to come over and help me build it. I'll post pics once completed. So on to the parts list! First off everything is going to be seated in a Corsair Carbide 400C ATX Mid Tower Case. It has a hinged smoke window on one side for easy access and viewing. My power supply is a EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80. Plenty of additional power ports for upgrades down the line. My motherboard is a Asus STRIX Z270-E GAMING. It is the top end Strix mobo, but not as crazy as some. For now I'll be running 16GB of Corsair Vengance ram (8GBx2 DDR4). Processor is an Intel i7 6700K 4.0GHz. To cool that down I have a Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler. The graphics card I chose is a MSI GTX 1080 Duke 8GB OC. It comes over clocked from the factory and has three cooling fans. The thing is huge, about the length of my forearm. (There was a sale and the Duke was actually cheaper than a standard MSI 1080) Storage is going to be handled by a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD and a Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM HDD. My case has three SSD slots so I'll probably pick up a 500GB or 1TB SSD down the line. FInally I'll get to see everything through an Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz monitor. What do you all think of the build?

On the note of the website being sluggish we are 33% of the way through re-indexing the posts, this is what is causing the database to lock and the site to crawl at times. It's taken well over 48 hours to get this far so it will be like this for a few more days i'm afraid.

Hello all - this is an announcement to give you some warning that we will be doing a major upgrade to the website and what to expect. First of all the why we are making the change - simply the current version is no longer supported for security updates and generally it's just nice to have a revamp every so often. We have had this website for a few years now. So when will this be happening - I am hoping either the weekend of the 25th, this will be a late start on the Friday and working through the weekend - an offline page will be in place during the upgrade to provide any updates. it's a very big upgrade and the process will be split up into a few stages: The initial stage will be to do the core features (such as the forums) which will take around a day of hard downtime Then we need to get the website looking right, so the chatbox, homepage, servers, awards etc. which will be about a day of intermittent downtime Then comes a huge task of rebuilding all of the content, this is an automated process but will take approximately a week before everything looks right. Finally comes the fixing everything 'that broke' time which will be a good few years i'm sure So how about the known problems and changes: If you have a different display name to your login name then you will have to use your display name to log in once the upgrade has completed. If you use either the Facebook or Steam logins this will also stop working - if you know this then send me a PM and we can sort it beforehand or otherwise contact me after.

Leaked info on the new call of duty says it will be in WWII. A YouTuber — “TheFamilyVideoGamers” — has posted a video of what appears to be images of Call of Duty 2017 marketing artwork, some of which appear to be concepts for final art. The leaked images show that Call of Duty 2017, developed by Sledgehammer Games, will take place during the World War II era. The images above show artwork that Activision appears to be creating for promotional images for the title. It also appears that Activision has decided to be straightforward with the naming scheme for the game and call it ‘Call of Duty: WWII’. This would be, probably, the simplest name for a Call of Duty game since before Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Back in 2014, Michael Condrey (Studio Head of Sledgehammer Games), stated that he wanted to see another Call of Duty game set in World War II: “I think a next generation game with the latest production values and robustness in a World War II setting like Band of Brothers would be amazing.” Furthermore in 2015, Activision Publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg, said in an interview that it’s “certainly possible” that there would be another World War II Call of Duty game: “Those kinds of things happen,” Hirshberg said, “so there’s definitely a chasing of innovation and new ideas within a well-worn genre that lead people to similar conclusions like changing time periods. And of course I think that opens up the opportunity for what is old is new again.” We do caution that, as of now, Activision has not confirmed any of this art work. Thus far, Activision has only confirmed that this year’s title is developed by Sledgehammer Games. They also said that Call of Duty 2017 title will take ‘Call of Duty back to its roots.’ Stay tuned for the latest news on Call of Duty 2017. More info should arrive in a couple of days.

It don't look anything at all like Minecraft, you were watching youtube videos, why don't you try it instead of pulling it to bits, it's easy to be critical of something before you try it, i have played both and i know which one i prefer and it's not the pretty game that plays like shite, some people actually like to play serious games now and again and no it don't play anything like Cod 4 either, just proves you have not read any posts, it's not like playing BF1 a game that was really created for kids with Xboxes where it only takes about 500 bullets to wound an enemy, just so the kids can get excited by spraying bullets everywhere, didn't take us long to drop that marvelous game did it?

Yeah there is like 4/5 options now for airstrikes , you can even drop supply crates down for your team. The airstrikes are much more effective now since they implemented binoculars into the game so its much easier for the officers to pin point a spot they want the airstrikes to land. I have been playing the game quite a lot over the last few days and really enjoying it. It's just something different for a change I suppose

I will third or fourth people above, I would like it if we can just see who is online now instead of who is or was online in the last 24 hours. Seeing your friends that are online now would also be nice but win some lose some. Thanks for the hard work, I know it's a bitch especially when you have an actual job and this is what you do in your "spare" time.
