I do tunnels as a separate .map file and then put them in when I have them done, except for the entrance/exit area. Much easier to see what I am doing. I take each section I want (90 degree turns, u shapes, s curves, etc) and make prefabs for each, then I can just bolt them together however I want quickly. The real pain is how you decide to make them transition to the surface. I tend to do a lot of texture blending so usually those spots take awhile for me to line up properly.

This happened to me twice... the first time I flew to Birmingham Alabama in the late 90's and went to eat.. correction I went to drink at the Outback Steak House across the street from my hotel. I had so much fun I never ordered food. So after they closed I waked to a Walmart a few miles away to grab a frozen pizza. After hours of walking still having fun, I threw the pizza in the oven in my room and sat in the couch. When I woke up I smelled something burning... then I remembered my pizza. All that was left was the round hockey puck looking thing that stunk the entire room up.

just the buildings, nothing like 2x4's or anything crazy like that. i can't imagine doing something like that lol, that must have taken a very long time or he/she was really fast. i am still working on those buildings like the ones i sent you. so if xmodels are used to much it drags the game down? how many of those can i use? i do have some like ledges (trim) that go around some of the buildings, i thought it would be cool to be able to walk around the outside of a building like that. i started working on a tunnel system yesterday but haven't gotten very far. it's kind of a pain in the butt, i don't know if i will continue that or not. i need to think about some buildings that are like blown up or w/e. i have so much going on right now, its hard to think lol

Not 100 % sure but its not so much how many brushes or patches you have but textures and xmodel that would chew up game memory. But out of curiosity what ya building that takes that many brushes. There was one person in here who built a small house and made every 2x4 a brush very detailed very bad too. Still it worked.

Download an ISO of Linux, anything. Use Rufus and burn it on a USB Stick. Run and boot it from there and tell me what you have as default. A Office version of Linux for free. I would for private selling (private, a big word) A full updated Windows 10 Pro is now around 80 to 90GB. One SATA drive of 120GB for 5 bucks and they can clone from that to a SSD. Did you know, that you can still go from a fresh Windows 7 to Windows 10 for free? Yes, and branded in the motherboard, but takes at least 5 hours to make that complete. A fresh Windows 10 and there you go, auto activated and Legal. /Edit: Now with all updates on Windows 7, MS disabled that feature. That is why I said a fresh Windows 7 without any updates. And use their upgrade tool. The MS activation servers are not down from when the free upgrade was offered.

I usually run around with Snatch and Grab which helps defrost a lot quicker and is great if low on numbers
