My Stepdaughter (Courtney) who is a cancer survivor and now on her way to become a nurse and working in the field...Honestly her entire outloook on life has changed and she see's the world different then most of us...Difficult things have become simple to her however life is more precious to her so loosing her first patient was very tough on her the other day...She is very greatiful to care for the sick and dying and be there for them in their time of need...This is her way of healing Her three side kicks Kindness is needed by more then we may ever know

I would of been drooling sitting there with both of them. Shatner was so calm and his excitement of talking to Tyson and he got to know him and how he thinks, amazing. Anyone who watching that will undoubtedly know Tyson's other side. Now everyone knows the reason the chunk of ear got bitten off (made sense). Tyson could not look away from Shatner. The excitement in his eyes was hilarious. Like a little boy meeting his hero lol I really enjoyed watching it and I downloaded it to watch again later.

Prayers for your Dad and Mom as well as your whole family. It sucks to get old and have to face this stuff with your parents, I completely understand what you are feeling. Hang in there Brother and just keep loving on them.

My dad is sick. He just turned 70 years old and 16 years ago he had double bypass surgery. He is type 2 diabetic and 1 1/2 years ago he had kidney failure caused by 1 of the drugs that the doc gave him. He also had what they called a "mild" heart attack because his kidneys shut down and his blood was full of toxins. He had to go in for dialysis every couple of days for 7 months. His kidney function came back to just over 80% from 4%. Not perfect but working well and getting slightly better with each checkup. He has a pace maker to deal with the what his doctor said is a "slightly irregular heart rate" caused by the "mild" heart attack. 3 weeks ago he went in to have a lump on his leg scanned and possibly removed. They ended up removing 1 of his lymph nodes from under his arm. They tested it and found it to be cancerous. He has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and it's also in his bone marrow. He started Chemotherapy 2 days ago and 1/2 way through his 1st treatment he starting having chest pains. They sent him home after 4 of hours of observation and told him to come back up this morning to continue his treatment. This morning they scanned and x-rayed and did all sorts of tests and found nothing wrong with his ticker. They found no blockages or anything out of the ordinary. They are keeping him in hope to find the cause of his chest pains. They are in contact with his cardiologist (heart doctor) and his nephrologist (kidney doctor) in hops to adjust his medications. Last time they "adjusted" his meds he almost died. After they figure out what is causing his chest pains they plan on completing his 1st Chemotherapy treatment. My dad is the most obnoxious, self righteous, self-centered, stubborn asshole that I've even known but he's my dad and I love him with all of my heart. I'm not the praying type but if anyone can send a few his way it would be very very much appreciated by me and mum. They are shutting down visitations at the hospital that he is at on Monday? 2 hours after mom came home this was on the news. This is pretty fucked up because they said absolutely nothing to mom about this while she was up with dad all day today and yesterday.

In Ontario, Canada we are about to be put on a mandatory face mask wearing in public places like grocery stores etc I have been against face masks from day 1 because they do not protect you if anything they harm you. Finally, a video that proves it.
