A few of us were discussing this on teamspeak a while back and it turned out we were all taking between 5000-10000iu per day, as were some in the politics forum. There is a correlation between vitamin d status and coronavirus severity. If you've been locked up in your house and not getting any sun for months it might be a good idea to get some. This is not a cure all, but it might help. Generally the further north you live, the greater the chance that you will be deficient. https://vitamind4all.org/letter.html This site discusses the science and makes recommendations. It has a list of prominent signatories from around the world.6 points

The thing here is as we get older we should be supplementing our immune system...I was never one to do so until about 6/7 years ago and since I have learned so much...I use moringa, lycopene, vitamin C/D/B12 and turmeric/curcumin with bioperine...I am not the healthiest person by any means but they all have changed my health needs and have replaced some pharmaceutical's...Moringa and lycopene alone have been major game changers... Lycopene had a major roll in beating cancer for my then 27yr old stepdaughter who had inoperable throat cancer...She has went to med school currently working in a hospital and cancer free..My middle daughter currently has congestive end stage heart disease and again moringa and lycopene have helped with her extraction rate from 16% to now 31%...She needs a heart transplant and her doctors are loving the results they are seeing with her taking them... We all should be talking about trying to maintain our health with proper eating and supplements Great post !3 points

How big "IS" Paintball ....?
YACCster reacted to Streetcleaner for a topic
I can't believe it's this big now and the scale on which some of these games are played....you have sniper specific guns, grenades(I have yet to see a decent design) but trip mines, smoke and flash grenades,as you will see ,even claymore mines that throw out 22 paint balls, magazine fed fully auto guns and of course semi auto and communication systems just plain crazy and fucking awesome....watch these videos and how serious these guys are !! ...there is a 3 day event the weekend after Easter in French Lick Indiana, that I will be attending(Magfed only)...can't wait.... what time is it boys AND girls ?..... It's killin" Time !!1 point -
That is just too cold for me (wet suit) ... maybe if I had a dry suit it would be different - never used a dry suit. I haven't dove in over 15-years, would have to re-learn my dive tables again1 point

Oldtimer cars
KaptCrunch reacted to Gardevil-Be for a topic
I like my car as original as possible, the only change are the wheels. I see that many people in the states convert old cars, sometimes in a way the car gets ugly (my opinion). I prefer them to be original.1 point -

If you're not running gigabit or higher speeds, you can go with 5e, a bit cheaper than 6. I run gigabit speeds and still using 5e without issue and mainly cause I have about 500m of the stuff still so not going to waste it.1 point
